Crumbling Down

  We arrived at Chads house but I didn't look up at it. "I'll be right back, okay" I didn't move. He sighed and went up to the house, he parked close enough to where I could hear. "Hello officer, you are the third car we have seen but the first to come upto the door" I knew that was his mother just by the ind sweet voice, it reminded me of my mother and tears begain to fall. "Yes, well, we found that Scarlet and her mother last left here, correct" he asked sounding very formal. "Yes, did something happen" worry begain to fill her voice. "Yes, and we aren't really sure what to do but may I ask, what conection do you have to them" there was a pause. "Well she is dating my son, can you tell me whats happening" she worr growing in her voice. "An 18-wheeler crash into them and her mother died in the crash and we aren't sure what where we should take the child, her mothe was her only living family that she had, her father's family has chosen to stay away from the matter" she didn't say a word but then next thing that left her mouth shocked me but I don't think it showed. "She can stay with us, Chad will want to be there and we are like a second family to her, I mean if you don't mind" there was another pause. "Well, I guess thats better them sending her somewhere unfamilar" I then heardvfoot steps coming to the car and my door opened. "Follow me my dear" I did as he asked still not saying anything. "Oh sweetheart" and I was ingulfed in a tight hug, by Chad's mother. "Come on" she lead me in, Chad happen to walk in but he seem more confuesed them happy which I would understand, I just left his house and now I back. His mother lead my to the livingroom before following the cop to his car to get what I would think the stuff that survived the explotion. "Babe what are you doing back here, not that I'm not happy to see you" I said nothing, I threw myself at him bursting into tears, It seem to shock him cause I felt him jump before he begain to strock my hair. I heard his mother enter and a door close. "Mom, whats going on, why is she so upset" he asked his mother but still did his best to clam me. "There was an accident and her mother did make it, she'll be staying with us for now on" his mother said, she sounded as if she wanted to cry herself. He said nothing, didn't make a sound. He moved me into a sitting postion then pulled me into a tight hug but didn't let go. I put my hands around him and just cried. We stayed like this for sometime till it felt as if I had no tears left. "I know how hard this is going to be, but you won't go through it alone, I promise" he said as he cupped my face. "I guess you don't like talking much when you feel any kind of pain, thats why you haven't said a word" he asked me softly I tried to say something but no word came out. So I did a simple nod.

   The next days I was taken back home to get somethings. I packed most of my cloths. I packed pictures of me and my mom, and other important things. My kitten was the first one to greet me, Midnight, was sweet and doesn't get in to much trouble. "Darling, do you need help" Chad's mother walked in and gasp by the sight of Midnight, I handed her a note I had writen, a smile grew on her face. "Well looks like a your kitten with have a new home, now lets get everything loaded up" she said with a smile.  Once we return, Chad hekp me settle into him room, his room was very big so we had plenty of room for my things.We even set everthing up for Midnight, I showed her how to use a box, so that will be less clean up. I guess this is my new home. I'm just glad that I'm in a place that love is something I didn't just get from my mother. 

    It's time to go back to school, I still haven't said a word but I wrote down what i needed to say. I was standing with Chad and our friend, but then the demon of the school walked up. "Hey guys" she said with a evil grin. "What do you want, Bitch" Clair shot at her. "Watch your self" she glaired. "Ashlen, just leave, we don't like you" Blair said calming her sister. "I just wanted to say something to Scarlet. I heard what happen to your mother, my dad was the cop was driving. Anyway no who you going to cry to, your bitchy mother can't be there for you now, that ugly whore got what she deserved" she said luaughing. Anger boiled inside me that I couldn't hold it back. "Hey, bitch. Fuck you, your sluty ass didn't even know my mother. At least my mother showed me love, your mother didn't cause you throw peeple down just for attention. You don't know shit and I dont give two fuck about what you say about me but no one and I mean no one talkes about my mother that way. How would you feel if you lost someone and they someone stated talking shit about them" she didn't say a word, she had no comeback. I tried to say something but she coulsn't, she stormed off in defeat. "Wow, I never would of thought you would say that" Clair said smiling at me. Chad seem shocked. "You talked" is all he got out. Everyone turned to him as if he lost hs mind. "You haven't said anything all summer" I looked away, I hadn't I couldn't ever think of what to say. "What" the twins said together. "Since the accident with my mom, I haven't said anythink, I just couldn't find the words. After that party my mouth has been zipped" I said slowly looking up. They all mouthed 'oh' and they all started looking at each other not knowing what to say. "Well even though, your first few words were cuss words, but she needed someone to tell her off, she had it coming. Babe I'm just glad your talking again, I missed your voice" he said with a chuckle, pulled me close. "That's soooo chessesy, bro" Brandon said making everyone laugh. So did I, "I think it was cute" I wispered in his ear, smiling.
