                                                   *******************************

                                                             Lindsey's P.O.V.

I was making my bed in the cabin with Kate and Charlie. We were making random small talk about anything.

"Hey Charlie, you should've seen James' face when you tackled him." Kate giggled. If I didn't know Charlie, and I heard that sentence, I would've thought Charlie was a boy. I don't know why she likes it better than her real name.

"Charlie," I said.

"Yea?" She answered

"Why don't you like to be called Charlotte?" I asked.

Her grin faded. "It's to girly for me. Plus, Charlie suits me better."

"Oh." I simply stated. There was a long awkward silence before I spoke up trying to change the subject. "Hey Kate, what kind of things do they have here? I know you spent hours looking at the brochure for this place."

"Oh, it's great here. They have things for everyone. They have courts and fields for almost every sport," You could see a smile form on Charlie's face. "A lake and a pool, an arcade, and umm... stables with horses..."

Everything else she said was a blur because as soon as I heard stables and horses I knew exactly where I would be for the rest of the day... and probably most of the days we will be here. I don't know if you can tell or not but I LOVE horses. No matter how much of a girly-girl I am, I will always love horses. Yea, I know I said I would spend most of my time with One Direction, but unless they are at the stables, they will not see the most of me.

I got out of my spot on the couch thing they have in our cabin and walked over to the dresser to go change into something less girly that I can ride a horse in. When I got out of the bathroom all dressed up, well really dressed down, I got questioned right away.

"Where are you going?" Charlie asked.

"Umm..... I'm going for a walk." I came up with as fast as I could.

"Can we come?"

"No."

Kate gave me a curious look. "Why...?"

Before I could answer, Charlie already came up with some annoying theory."Who's the lucky guy?" She teased wiggling her eyebrows.

I grunted rolling my eyes. "I'm not meeting anyone. I just want to be alone is all. I'm always with someone. It's nice to be alone sometimes."

"Fine. We will let you go this time, but don't expect it to be this easy next time." Charlie warned.

I laughed and waked out of the door. I couldn't tell them that I was going to the stables. That's not the kind of person they think I am. I walked into the stables and started to look at all the horses. Their names were on the gate. I was looking at the horses to find which one I would ride. I didn't want to choose just any horse. I need a horse that stands out to me, that I can connect to. I was almost at the end when I finally found him. Fantom, a tall black horse. He was beautiful. I didn't wait any longer, I just tacked him up and hopped on. I was surprised when he let me on easy. We started on our way.

After a while of riding I heard another horse behind me. I turned around and, to my surprise, I was bieng followed by a boy. He had blonde hair and blue eyes.

"It can't be." I mumbled. loooking foward again. I think he noticed that I noticed him following me because he caught up to my side and started trotting next to me.

"I don't think we properly met when you arrived." He smiled. Now I am sure it's him. "I'm Niall Horan. You are?" He said sticking his hand out for me to shake.

"Lindsey." I responded.

"Are you one of Kate's friends?" He asked confused. Probably because I wasn't wearing something too girly. I nodded. "You look different than you did this morning." He stated.

"Um... yeah." Wow, I suck at making conversation. "Were you following me the whole time?" That's better.

"Umm... y-yeah..." He stuttered nervously. "But not in a stalkerish way..."

I laughed at his atemp to cover up the fact the he was following me. "Is there something you want?" I asked him because it really made no sense why a member of One Direction, particularly Niall, is talking.

He chuckled at my question. Did I say something? "Is it so wrong of me to have a conversation with a pretty girl that I'm interested in on a horse?" I must have been blushing like crazy. "Hey, don't let me stop you from ridding. Do you mind if I come along?"

"Sure." I smiled. We kept ridding and talking and telling each other jokes for a while. He was really sweet. There was something about him that was different from other guys I've met. (Other than the fact that he was a pop star.) I don't know if it was the twinkle in his eye when he laughs or his amazing smile that makes girls swoon, but there is something special about him.

As we were walking back to the stables he spoke up. "We should do this again sometimes. How about tomorrow?" There's that twinkle in his eye again. I nodded. And there is that smile. God, I'm so cheesy, but what can I say It's Niall Horan. He's pretty cheesy.

I started walking back to my cabin when I heard footsteps behind me. They sounded like they were running. I turned around to see who it was and as soon as a turned around whatever was running after me ran right into me knocking me down to the floor! When I looked up I noticed blonde hair. "Niall?" I asked.

"Yeah sorry. I didn't mean to run into you." He said as he was getting brushing himself of. He offered me help up as he continued. "I wanted to walk you to your cabin." He smiled again.

"Why not." I smiled back. We started walking and talking and telling jokes again. We just get along. I feel so comfortable around him. I don't know why, I just do. As we were aproching my cabin a thought came to me. "Please don't tell James." I blurted out of nowhere.

He gave me a confused look. "Don't tell James what?"

"I-I just don't want him to know that I'm meeting up with you, in case he tells Kate and I know both of them won't like it."

"Ok, but can I tell the lads? As in-"

"I know what you mean, and sure." I cut him off.

He sighed, relieved he could tell his best mates. We soon approached the door. "Well I had fun." He said. I nodded. We were now standing infront of my door just looking at eachother. He looked like he was disputing about something with himself, until he had a look of decision plastered across his face. He looked nervous. I gave him a questioning look And he just leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. "See you tomorrow." He said as he waved and walked away to the cabin not to far from where I stood. I waved back and found my hand grazing over the spot on my cheek where his lips had just been.

I turned around and walked through the door to find two set of eyes on me."The camsite isn't that big." Kate spoke up.

"There are only three possible explanations for why you took so long..." Charlie started.
