Abby
As soon as we paddled off, we were in a water war again. We constantly splashed each other while laughing. He swam towards me and I swam away, but he grabbed my foot and pulled me back to him. He wrapped his arms around me, and as soon as our lips were about to connect, a huge wave enveloped us. I swam back to the surface, coughing from the tangy saltwater.
"Wasn't expecting that." I laughed.
"Okay, let's try that again." Myles grabbed my hands, pulling me back to him and wasting no time connections our lips. I kissed back, putting my arms around his neck and evaporating the space between us. For a minute, it was like no one else was around...it was just us, until another wave toppled over us.
"Okay, now time to surf." I smirked, hopping onto my board while looking for the next wave.
"God help me." Myles mumbled as he pulled himself onto his board. This should be fun.
I caught a couple waves and Myles actually got the hang of it just like I said he would. After about an hour, we were both exhausted and decided to ditch the boards. I sat down on the sand where the waves were crashing and dug my feet in. The warm sand feels so good with the cool water crashing against you. I wish I could stay here forever. Myles sat down beside me, lacing our fingers together. I laid my head on his shoulder, just enjoying the sun. I love the beach. Sometimes being here is all I need.
"Abby?" He asked.
"Hm?"
"Were you and Cameron...ever a thing?" He questioned.
I shrugged. "Kind of I guess, don't worry about it. I'm all yours." I squeezed his hand reassuringly.
I saw him smile from the corner of my eye. "I love when you say that." He whispered and kissed my cheek.
"What do you have planned for the future?" I randomly asked.
"You." He answered and I raised my eyebrows. "Didn't mean it like that. Um, producing music. That's all I've ever done. That's all I ever want to do." He shrugged.
I giggled. "You're too cute."
He gently kissed my lips for a few seconds before pulling away. "We should get going."
I sighed and agreed. We got up and dusted ourselves off before getting into his Range Rover. "Thank you for today."
He grabbed my hand, lacing our fingers together. "You're my girl. I have to make my girl happy." He smiled.
I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked down at my lap. "You're too good to me.
"You're too good for me." He responded making me smile. How did I get so lucky? "I'll see you later babe." He kissed me one last time before leaving.
I went inside and it was unusually quiet. I guess no one is here. I went upstairs and took a quick shower before slipping on a Calvin Klein set. I heard a knock on the door as I brushed through my long wet hair. I pulled it open and continued brushing my hair.
"Abby." I heard Jack speak.
Oh no, I know that voice. I glanced at him seeing the familiar bloodshot eyes and pale skin. "Jack." I sighed.
"Yes?" He smiled.
"Why did you do this?" I asked finishing my hair and crossing my arms.
He snarled. "Because I can do whatever the hell I want."
"Jack, you said you wouldn't." I said in a soft voice.
"I don't care." I felt him grab my hands and push me back against the counter.
"Jack, stop." I demanded. He looked down at me and I knew it wasn't him by looking in his eyes. His grip on my wrists tightened. "Jack, this isn't you." I pleaded. His eyes only darkened as his body was pressed against mine. This can't be happening again.
"Dude, what the hell?" I heard an angry voice and Jack was pulled off of me. "Hey, you okay?" Cameron asked.
I slowly nodded and rubbed my wrists. "He said he wouldn't do it again."
I heard him sigh. "It'll be okay. You can yell at him tomorrow. Don't worry." I laughed softly and looked up at him. He gently took my hand in his. "I'm still me okay?"
I nodded and wrapped my arms around him tightly. "God, I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you more than you'll ever know." He replied.
I rested my head against his chest as he had his arms locked around me. "Nap Time?" I suggested.
He nodded and we both entered my room. I laid down in my bed and patted the spot beside me. He laid down and pulled the covers over us and pulled me into his arms. "Just like old times." He chuckled.
"Never thought I'd wish to go back." I whispered with tears filling my eyes.
"Sh, don't think about that. We are here now. Let's make the most of what's to come." He said and kissed my head softly.
I nodded and laid my head on his chest, closing my eyes. Sometimes, I wish I could be back in that hotel room with him. Back when I didn't have a care in the world... we played hide and seek until like two in the morning. I miss them all so much. I miss all of our old times. I mean, Andrea and I still have fun but it's nothing like back then. I really am glad I have Myles, but I wish I still had the others here too. They'd love him. I just really miss everything. Cameron held me tighter and rubbed my back as I cried into his chest. I just want everything to go back to the way it was.
