      Roommate wanted

this might be the ad that changes my life it was low rent and in a nicer neighborhood

I took the flyer and went outside to call the number

I was relieved that I hadn't been taken off the phone plan yet

Unknown- Hello?

Dan- Hi I'm calling about the roommate opening

Unknown- Oh, great! If you want to come by at any time today and check out the flat you can.

Dan- I will come by soon then

Unknown- okay thank you see you soon oh and by the way I'm Phil

Dan- I'm Dan

Phil- alright bye, for now Dan

I flag down a cab and tell them the address

after a few minutes, we were there 

I paid the man and walking into the building

I texted Phil that I was in the building and he said he'd come down to get me

'please don't be hot' I said over and over again in my head 

I felt a tap on my shoulder 

"are you Dan" he asked

'fuck he's hot'

I nodded my head and followed him

when he opened the door I saw all sorts of games and geeky things

I was immediately excited

"follow me I'll show you to the room" Phil said smiling

we walked up a small flight of stairs and he turned around and smiled

"This would be your room and this one mine" he said pointing at the two doors

we walked into the one on the right

it was fairly big and the colors of the room was all my style

I turned and smiled at Phil

"this place is perfect and you seem so friendly! plus the rent is cheap how do you not have a roommate already" I asked feeling bad as I watched his facial expression drop

"People usually are scared off by my occupation" he said quietly

"no job you could have would be a problem how soon would you think I could move in" I asked smiling

he lifted his head and smiled "as soon as you'd like"

I reached in my pocket and pulled out the money for this months rent

"I was kicked out of my house so I have all I need. Also if you hear me talking to myself I'm filming videos I'm a Youtuber" I mentioned smiling

he took the money and smiled "I do YouTube as a Side job" he said

this was the start of something magical
