14. "Can I Have This Dance?

Kensi and Deeks were at a special NCIS ball. It was optional that they come, but Kensi and Deeks sprang at the chance to dance together.

Kensi was wearing a long, flowing cornflower blue dress and Deeks was wearing an ocean blue tux.

When they got there, they just sat around for a little bit, waiting for a slow song to start.

After about an hour of waiting around, a slow song finally came on.

"Can I have this dance?" Deeks asked like a gentleman.

"Of course," Kensi said.

So they went to the dance floor.

And they swayed around to the music. Her head was on his shoulder, arms around his neck. His head was on hers, arms around her waist.

A little while later, a song that they dubbed "Their Song" came on. It was "Like I Am" by Rascal Flatts.

"May I have this dance as well, my lady?" Deeks asked.

Kensi got up and they started dancing like they were before.

They both sang along to the song. And they got lost in each other's eyes.

The last song that came in was "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, and they danced to that one too.

They got lost in each other's eyes, and they were singing along to the song.

It was a truly magical night.
