{Oh hey, it's me, Wario--- ooops, wrong thing. I know it sounds like Sans x Reader x Mettaton but don't misunderstand it uwu, I'm going a bit slow because the protagonist has a lot to change and Sans is the right monster to help her uwu. I love ya all, I accept your suggestions!}

Sans looked at his watch, in the middle of the night. Five minutes to 3am, everybody was sleeping so almost everything was covered into darkness, peaceful darkness. He was sure (y/n) wasn't going to come, so he turned his back to take a look at the city before entering into the corridor who led to the barrier.
Suddenly, quick footsteps were heard through the walls, echoing and alerting Sans to not let his guard down. His right eye started to glow as well as his hands, burying into sapphire flames until he heard a voice, while a slim, well-known shape tried to get closer.

"P-please... don't go yet...!" You said while gasping as a way to catch your breath. This was the first time you had to run from one side to other in the Underground, your lungs felt heavy and your legs were shaking.

Sans took away the flames and looked at you, smiling warmly. "Are you sure you wanna come?" He asked just to make sure and walked towards you, giving you time enough to recover your energy. You nodded as an answer and took his hand, trying to don't look back. "Get us out of here, Sans." You pleaded and both started to walk, filled with the echoes in the dark.

When you approached where there was once a barrier, he stopped just to quit his jacket and offered to you. "Is really cold outside, like a chill in the bones." He tried to cheer up and helped you to wear it. It was really warm and soft.

"W....wait." you told him from nowhere and he turned up his head with a puzzled face whereas you took your cellphone from your case and left it in a corner. "Why are you doing that?" The skull asked with curiosity.

"I know that if Metta... if he makes a call again, I know that I will be capable to return and do what he wants again and if that happens then this would be in vain. And I don't really want that to happen."

For the first time in months, you smiled happily and Sans mimicked you. "Let's go then." He finished and you exit the Underground, trying to forget the pain you had in your heart and soul.

You walked for some hours, the path was filled with snow and even with your boots it was really slippery down there. Sans helped you most of time without caring of his clothes, in the end you two were covered with snow and some mud.

The first sunbeam crossed from Mt. Ebott when you turned your back and you felt some melancholy. Only six years ago you were used to live and depend on the sun but now you were afraid of its light and heat. "We... we did it, Sans..!" You said after you got into the closest town. Some people went out from their houses ready to start working, children going to school, proud parents walking along with them. And most of them greeted Sans and you, almost like you were friends with them.

"What do ya think, huh? Looks like Toriel was right about humans and now everybody gets along" Sans whispered with a wide smile while you kept walking through the streets until you were in front of a house which resembled you a bit of the palace. "Is this... were Toriel lives?" You asked, glancing at the ice statues and snowflakes dancing in the air. The skull nodded his head and took your hand, guiding you through the entrance and knocking the door a couple times.

Your eyes widened when you looked at a certain monster, yawning and scratching its head before looking at you.
"A-Asriel!!!"

The young goat-a-like male drowned a small shout on his throat and you ran at him, glomping and hiding your face on his fluffy shoulder. "(Y/n)! I thought I'd never see you again!" Asriel exclaimed and he walked into the house with Sans at his side.

You sobbed a bit, they were a lot of feelings mixed at the same time and you felt you were not able to handle these emotions. However, Asriel brushed your hair with a peaceful expression trying to be gentle with you."Mom and dad are still asleep so be quiet." He said and took off Sans' jacket from you. "I thought she'd never come so I didn't get something for her, dude." Sans explained and walked right to the kitchen, asking for spaghetti and ketchup while you were being carried by your best friend.

"How did you get your monster shape again, Asriel?" You whispered after he let you lay down on a couch and he tilted his head. "This? Well, Alphys did a lot of research in the surface and met several scientists. They found I still had a bit of the humans and monsters soul inside of me after I destroyed the barrier and Alphys built a device that.. kinda let me get a soul again in a monster shape. Is pretty useful, don't you think?"

You blushed a bit when looking at him once more: he has grown up just like you and it was pretty similar to when you battled him but there was a more mature aura around. "What do you mean with 'kinda'? Is there any problem with it?"

"Hm. It is a bit, yes." Asriel paused and glanced at you. "This device consumes a lot of energy so I have to charge it constantly. When the battery runs out, I take my weird-flower shape which is a burden. Now, you look a bit tired so let's go to bed."

You were about to make a pouty face when you finally felt sleepy. Dang, he was so comfortable and warm! "Please, carry me." You asked with your arms wide open, acting like a child.

"Hey, you are not a kid anymore, did you know?" He replied, raising his eyebrows but instead of complaining he carried you bridal style and lead you to a room.
"See ya later, (y/n)" Sans said after drinking ketchup, waving his hand.

"Sweet dreams, (y/n)... I'm glad to see you again." Asriel kissed your forehead and put you gently on the bed. "If you need something just call me. I'm next door."

"Thank you all..." you said, closing your eyes and letting your worries get away.
"Sweet dreams, Mettaton." You thought and hugged your pillow.
