The rulers of the kingdoms sat at the head of the large conference table in a large circular space. Behind them, there sat the princesses in order of their respective kingdoms. The rest of the table was full of nobles and other dignified ranks of nobility.
The atmosphere was very tense, very hostile towards other kingdoms. Only murmurs were heard between people of the same kingdom before Virgo stood up to begin.
"We have called you here today to discuss what we, the rulers, have decided to do about one of the most bizarre attacks on our kingdoms in hundreds of years," Virgo announced, "As you know, there is an unknown enemy terrorizing our kingdoms. This is a huge concern because the threats given after the attack are directed to innocent civilians."
"It is with our interest that we form an alliance," Capricorn added in, "With our combine strengths we can take down this menace, and life will resume as normal."
"Though we all don't want to work together," Aries shot a subtle glare at the other two rulers, "We have no other option at this point. When they threaten all of us, we should all take it down! No man will let their kingdom fall without falling! I say, we prepare immediately!"
A large cheer went up with the crowd from all kingdoms. All the nobles were on board with this because they felt as if their pride was insulted by this enemy, so they're not not going to do nothing about it.
The only queen in the room raised her hand up for silence, "This will not be an easy task. However, if you feel that your god wants you in the front line, I say take that opportunity. In other-"
She was cut off by a huge gust of wind sweeping through the room. Everyone ducked and shielded themselves from the harsh blow. When it finally settled down, they all looked up and there were two hooded figures in dark blue and silver robes, standing on the table.
Virgo widened his eyes, "The Reapers of Abyss! What are you doing here? This is not your domain! Leave or we shall strike you down now!"
The shorter of the two smiled, and it was eerily creepy. It was the type of smile that send shivers down the spine and triggering the flight response. It was a smile that made someone see their own demise.
"Fuhuhu, aren't you an adorable little king?" She said, the strange grin still in place, "You don't think we're here because the enemy of yours is an ally of ours?" She giggled insanely.
"Don't worry," the taller one said, clearly male and had a more serious air around him, "We aren't here to harm you, yet. We just came to chat."
A few guards raised their weapons but they promptly turned into dust. They stood there in bewilderment of the loss of tools.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," the girl taunted, rolling over onto her stomach on the table, "My powers surpass anything you can conjure up. You don't stand a chance of someone with a demigod on their side."
A creature of Abyss appeared after she said, "This is my chain from Abyss, Doldum. She can control you if I so desire, or I could ask to obliterate all of you into dust. The choice is yours, and I would listen to what we have to say."
Nobody dared to move from where they stood for fear of what they might become if they did.
The taller cleared his throat, "As I was saying, the entire reason why they're doing this is because-" he was cut off by the sound of a gun shot. In a brief flash, the gun was bent out of commission and the bullet that was shot was in the guy's hand, still steaming from being shot. There was a groan of pain was heard from the gunman. His body was twisted, but was not dead. He clearly will never live normally again.
A smile stretched across the guy's face, "I never said I wouldn't do anything. Your history has been lies! Your destinies all mixed up! The death of a person has come to vengeance and will rise again! No one will be safe!" In a flash of wind, the two reapers were gone, leaving behind the last words of the guy behind on a torn piece of paper.
Everyone moved again, becoming free from their fear paralysis. They looked at each other, fearful and scared, but their determination shown through all of that. They were not going to take this lying down, they were going to stand up and fight for their values and ideals.
The rulers held their heads high as they saw all of their troops ready to take on any challenge. They were already forming strategies in their minds on how to take down this unknown force. It wasn't going to be easy, but they'll die protecting their kingdoms if it meant victory.
The princesses, on the other hand, looked super worried about the whole situation. It may have been the previous fear from the Reapers, but they still felt a boulder drop in their stomachs. They felt that this is going to end in chaos, and they dreaded that the outcome wouldn't be as hopeful as the others thought they would be.

"It still looks the same as it was a thousand years ago."
"I remember putting those lion statues there."
"I hate coming here, reminds me of what I've done."
"You need to loosen up a bit, even we can change the past without ruining the others."
"He's right, this is not the time for reminiscing. Our followers are relying on us to make sure nothing is truly amiss in this area."
Scorpio nodded in silent agreement. While it might be true that he may never stop blaming himself, his duty as a god came first. It always did.
They made it to the inner room of the tomb, the room before where the body lays in forever slumber. For some reason dark magic was pulsing through this room. The three gods looked at each other to make sure they were all feeling it.
"Should we summon the guards?" Leo asked. The other two nodded in agreement. They knew someone but them and the guards have been here.
"Let's do it in the tomb," Sagittarius said, "That way we'll know for sure if someone actually messed with the wards." They walked in, and their eyes went wide in shock.
The two guards were unconscious and laying on the ground, sprawled out in an uncomfortable manor. That wasn't the worst part. Veins of black, pulsing magic were on the glass that covered the body.
The dead goddess, once looked at peace, now looked a mix of pained and evil. The three gods knew that this enemy, whoever they may be, is drawing their power from what little of what's left of her power.
They looked at each other, and a silent plan was exchanged. Leo and Sagittarius went to go wake up the unconscious guards, while Scorpio will try to remove the dark magic.
When he went up to it, the magic felt familiar like it was his, but it didn't match the signatures of his but was very similar. He tried to even touch the glass of the coffin, but the magic protected itself, creating a forcefield around the area.
The guards were moved to a more comfortable position, and after a few minutes, started to regain consciousness.
Sagittarius let out a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness you two are alright. I'm glad you guys have some of our power."
"We are glad to be alive," the female said in a quite, respectable voice.
"I have to say," the male guard answered, "They would have caught me up on sleep if would have been a normal induced sleep."
"Who attacked you?" Immediately questioned Leo, "Taurus, Gemini! This is not a laughing matter!"
The two looked at each other as if searching for answers before responding at the same time.
"We don't know."
