One Missed Call From Tristan

Call Fourteen.

*Tristan calling Piper's phone from Tristan's phone 4:13 p.m. on February 22nd.*

Tristan: "Hi."

Piper: *frowning* " You're mad at me aren't you?"

Tristan: "No. I'm not mad at you."

Piper: "Then what is it, Tristan? Your parents? Did someone die? Please enlighten me on why you've been ignoring my phone calls."

Tristan: "It's nothing, okay? I've just been under a lot of... Stress."

Piper: "So you ignore me? That isn't how friendship goes Tristan! We're suppose to come to each other for problems. That's how it's been for awhile so you can't just decided to shut me out!"

Tristan: "Well, I'm sorry okay? I told you I was stressed out. I have things going on in my life that I kind of need to sort out on my own."

Piper: *whispering* "You still could have called."

Tristan: *sighing* "I'll make sure to call you back next time, alright?"

Piper: "Fine. Just don't forget."

*silence*

Piper: " My parents said yes."

Tristan: "They said yes? About what?"

Piper: "You and Keith coming to vist, remember?"

Tristan: "Oh. Right. That."

Piper: "You don't sound happy about it."

Tristan: "Oh, I am. It's just - uh - I can't go."

Piper: *silence*

Tristan: "It's not like I don't want to get to meet you it's just -"

Piper: "What happened?"

Tristan: "I can't talk about it right now."

Piper: "Then when can you? Gosh Tristan, I was really excited about the whole thing!"

Tristan: "You do realize you sound like clingy girlfriend, right?"

Piper: "According to my boyfriend I'm nowhere near clingy."

Tristan: *scratching head* "D-Did you just say boyfriend?"

Piper: *giggling* "Yes."

Tristan: "Since when?"

Piper: " Since Cecelia forgave me awhile ago and Tommy asked me out last week. We weren't official until yesterday though, which you would have known about if you had answered your phone. "

Tristan: "So you two are... Together together?"

Piper: "Yep! My family was surprised and so were all of my friends. Even my youth group pastor was surprised!"

Tristan: *frowning* "That's... Great Piper. I'm really happy for you."

Piper: *smiling* "Thanks."

*silence*

Piper: " I should probably go."

Tristan: "Yeah I should go too."

Piper: "Bye Tristan."

Tristan: "Bye Princess."
