"QUEEN!"
Hadija screamed, while she barged into the resting chambers.
Nazia turned around and approached Hadija.
"What is it, Hadija? Why are you panting?" Nazia asked calmly while holding on to Hadija's shoulders
"Queen, you have to go to the dining hall now! Sultan Azman is attempting to strangle King Ramji!" Hadija panted.
"WHAT?!" Nazia raised her eyebrows before she ran down the stairs with Hadija trailing behind her.
Once Nazia, reached the foot of the spiral staircase, she ignored the multiple servants who were bowing down to her.
Nazia continued running towards the dining hall.
The moment she reached the dining hall, she saw an image which she never wanted to see.
Sultan Azman, was holding onto Ram's neck and yelling at him continuously while Ram did not retaliate. However, Arnav was trying to pull the two of them apart.
Emperor Gaurav and Empress Sheila were just eating their meals, while being completely oblivious to the fact that their son was being hit by their in-law!
"YOU PATHETIC BEING! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF KEEPING MY DAUGHTER HAPPY AND HEALTHY!" Sultan Azman yelled, his face turning red with each word he said.
"I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO HAVE GOTTEN MY DAUGHTER MARRIED TO A WIDOWER!" Sultan Azman's veins were visibly popping on his neck, his grip on Ram's neck was increasing as well.
"FATHER, STOP IT!" Nazia screamed from the entrance of the dining hall.
Anger present in her eyes, Nazia pushed her father's chubby hands away from her husband's copper neck which now had fingernail marks present on them.
Nazia stood in between the two men.
Protecting the man, she loved-more.
"A man, should know how to keep his wife happy. But most importantly, she should know how to keep her alive." Sultan Azman glared at Ram.
"Stop it, father! You're saying as if it is his fault that Binita died! You know it's not!" Nazia yelled at her father for the first time in her life.
Nazia, noticed from the corner of her eye, that Empress Sheila had stopped eating momentarily.
"You know you need this alliance and I know you won't risk it for the mere fact that he's a widower!" Nazia yelled even more.
Sultan Azman huffed and proceeded to leave the UttarakhandPalace.
"And father," Nazia called, stopping Sultan Azman in his tracks.
"Yafeal tubqi li saeidatin." Nazia glared at her father as he left, before holding Ram's hands in hers. Noticing that tears were streaming down his face, Nazia brought him to the garden, where she could talk to him in private. Empress Sheila had her eyes move in sync with Nazia's footsteps. Something which Hadija had taken note of. Closely. Very closely.
