Hadija walked Princess Nazia down the spiral staricase. Princess Nazia, wore a hijab and had a blue translucent veil over her face. With, slight vision she noticed a crowd of noble men and women seated on rows of chairs. While walking towards her throne, she noticed her future husband seated on his throne as well. He looked rather upset as he kept his head bowed down. Princess Nazia sighed as she took her seat.
Both Emperor Gaurav and Empress Sheila of Uttarakhand stood beside their son. Sultan Azman and Sultana Raziya Begum beamed as Princess Nazia took her seat. Empress Sheila presented Princess Nazia with a green and gold saree along with gold jewellery on a gold platter. Next, Emperor Gaurav presented Princess Nazia with a red and gold gagra choli along with a huge platter of gold coins. Sultan Azman smiled at the lovely transaction that was occuring before him.
Both houses, had called for the Brahmin priest as well as the Maulvi to commence the wedding preparations. Once the wedding date was fixed, Emperor Gaurav and Sultan Azman hugged each other. Empress Sheila and Sultana Raziya were jumping with joy. King Ramji looked hurt and upset while Princess Nazia had no sign of interest in this arranged marriage.
Once, the dreadful night had ended, Princess Nazia proceeded to get ready for her wedding which was to be held in two days time.
