Chapter 8 - The Relationship

Layla's POV

"Yeah, that's it, I pulled a chick at a club I went to" I heard Simon say. I couldn't believe it. He hadn't liked me after all. I dropped my bowl onto the floor, Josh and Simon still not hearing or noticing me. I walked back upstairs into Simon's room and lay on his bed crying. Once I picked up enough courage to even move at all, I looked at my phone and checked my Instagram. Thousands of messages on my latest post telling me to kill myself and delete my channel made me feel even worse. Why did every bad thing have to come at once. I suddenly looked round and saw Simon at the door. He came over and kissed me on the lips, asking me what was wrong." Stay away from me!" I answered and he backed off.
"What have I done?" He asked pointing to himself.
"Was that not you talking to Josh in the living room minutes ago. Was that your identical fucking twin brother, maybe? Because I am prepared to swear blind that I heard you say that you slept with a 'chick'."I said back to him in an angry tone of voice.
"No, it's just the boys did hear us last night. What was I gonna tell them. That I'd banged the fit girl who had just moved into the room next door on her first day?"He said and I started to think about the situation more thoroughly. He was complementing me which was helping me calm down quicker. "Simon, look. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship just yet. I've caused this much mayhem on the first day alone and we arent even officially together yet."I confessed to him
"I really want this to work. Us to work. But I need you to trust me that I would never cheat on you, ever." He said and made me look away to blush. We both sat down on the bed until I leant slowly into his chest. "Don't ever let me think you don't like me again ok" I muttered whilst falling backwards into the bed with Simon. We were now lying next to each other, I moved my hair out of his face and looked up at him. We leaned in towards each other and slowly pressed our lips together. We carried on kissing for a while until Simon gestured that he wanted to take it a step further by attempting to take my trousers off. I pulled away and told him "Later Simon, not now." We then made out for a couple more minutes until Simon once again attempted to make another move. "Simon stop. I am not doing this right now in the middle of the day with 3 very aware people 1 floor below us." I finalised with him.
"I don't care if they find out anymore, and to be honest I think it would be better if they did. We would be able to be way more open with our relationship inside they house and you could shout out ' oh Simon your dick is so big' even louder." Replied Simon
"As much as I love your big dick, I wouldnt be screaming that out loud anyway." I said back to him and then sat upright to face the window.
"That's not what you said last night" he said and smiled.
"Simon, seriously. If we want us as a couple to be serious then we need to find out when to tell the guys."I said trying not to laugh at Simon's latest comment.
"How about tonight?" suggested Simon.
"That would be good," I confirmed and then Simon stood up from his lying position.
"Right, I'm off to go shoot a video with Callux." He finished and then kissed me on the lips one last time before leaving.
After grabbing his phone and keys, he finally said he loved me and left the room. I said it back and decided I also needed to to something productive for my YouTube channel.

I started recording, "What is up guys and today I am joined by the one and only. The most legitimate human on this planet..."I paused as Joe weller walked onto the screen," 's twin brother." I continued and clapped him sarcastically to welcome him onto the channel.
"Well, what a noice entrance from Young Joseph their."He said strangely.
"Today we have a bit of a spooky video, we are going to be exploring an abandonned warehouse in Yorkshire that is supposedly haunted by over 20 spirits each week. We will have a jump cut to us entering the building and will see you their." I then ended the recording and we made our way to the warehouse. Once entering the building, I began to start the recording again.
"So we are inside the warehouse and no sign of any suspicious activity as of yet"I said whilst walking over several smashed glass bottles and scattered cardboard boxes.
"Did something just move?" I questioned as I shined my torch in the general direction of the sound I heard from afar.
There was a big main door at the front of the warehouse that was filled with rotting wooden crates that in a way created walkways. Suddenly, I looked round to see the big main door slide open slowly
"Police!!!" Someone shouted
"Shit" I whispered to Joe from behind one of the crates.
"Nah legit like what the fuck do we do. We are going to have to sprint through the back entrance and into my car and then drive off without them catching us." Joe planned
"But they must have seen your car to know someone was in here. They might be guarding it." I then said.
"We don't have any other option." Joe finally reasoned and I eventually agreed with him. We sprinted for the door but I dropped one of my cameras. The camera slid across the cold floor and I ran to pick it up. One Policeman saw me and shouted "You their, stop!!!!"
I picked up the camera and ran out the back door. The man chased after me through the doorway and sprinted round towards Joe's car
"Drive!!" I screamed as I scrambled into the car and Joe drove off away from them. We managed to hide in a McDonald's car park and then Joe dropped me back home. The best thing about that whole experience was I got it on camera, I thought to myself as I rested my head on the living room sofa. "And Joe just drove off in his car with out them chasing him or anything?" Ethan questioned with a lucozade in his hand.
"Pretty much"I confirmed and then walked over to Simon by the fridge in the kitchen. "Should we tell them now?"I quietly asked Simon.
"Yeah let's do it now"said Simon and we both walked into the living room together. Everyone was sat with a KFC meal in their lap. "Guys, we have something to tell you."I said to grab everyone's attention, including JJ's who never listens to anyone.
"We have wanted to tell you for some time now that me and Layla are actually seeing each" Simon said and everyone in the room looked shocked. Harry, JJ, Ethan, Tobi and Vik all stared in awe. However Josh just sat their and carried on eating. "Is it really that little of a surprise to you Josh?" Said Harry.
"I have had my suspicions for a while."Josh replied
"To be honest, it isn't that much of a surprise. They are each other every day." Ethan said and smiled. No one in the room laughed and everyone went silent." Don't try and make jokes Ethan, it never works out well." JJ said also smiling.
"Well I guess your right" Ethan said sighing.
"Really?" Replied JJ confused
"Yeah, I made you and you turned out horribly."Ethan said.
The entire room burst out with laughs and Get wrecked's and you got burnt's. Ethan was screaming and thinking he was a champion and JJ was sitting in a corner, most likely attempting to think of a comeback and struggling with his one brain cell. I giggled at my own thought and officially declared that I was tired and needed some rest. I went to bed and slept for a few hours. I was then woken up in the middle of the night by Simon clambering into my bed."Simon, you know your bed is much bigger than mine." I stated. "Well let's move and go over their then." Simon also said.
"We'll have more space" he also whispered in my ear

Author's note: This chapter was a lot longer than usual. It was to make up for the short one yesterday so yh.
