Chapter 9

Harry's POV

It's been great the past few weeks. Yeah, I'm still kind of upset over Evelina moving but I'm also quite happy. She was way to clingy and mean to Cher, Shes like my best friend now. I hated her so much all these years and never really realized that she's such a nice person.. And pretty, Cute, Smart. Wait what!? No I don't like Cher... But I think I do. I was cut off by my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said picking it up

"Harry! please come over now.. Please!" I heard Cher say between sniffles.

"Cher, love tell me what's going on" I said grabbing my keys and running to the car.

"It's my mum! Shes on the floor and I don't feel a pulse, Harry please hurry!" She said shakily. I could totally tell she was crying hysterically.

"Calm down I'm almost there okay love? Call the police for me and breathe"

"Okay" she said hanging up. I started driving faster finally parking at her house. I ran inside as quickly as I could and saw Cher on her knees next to her mother laying on the ground. She quickly got up and ran over to me as I pulled her into a tight hug, Resting my chin on her head and rubbing her back.

"Shhh.. Calm down it will all be okay"

1 month later

"Okay okay I admit it you're stronger now please stop!" Cher squealed. I smiled still tickling her.

"Say Harry styles is the cutest guy I know or I'll keep ticking"

"Harry styles is the cutest guy I know!" She said quickly while squirming around. I smirked and stopped. it's been a whole month since Cher's mum passed away, and she's been living here ever since. She always slept with me because every night she would start crying because of her mum. Her mother passed from a heart attack and I remember when they pronounced her dead and they were going to take the house away. Cher fell to the floor, It was heartbreaking. I let her stay with me and we've gotten much closer. I found out that I do really like Cher, after some thinking of course. But she's been dating Jessie, who's actually just using her but every time I tell her she ignores and thinks I'm trying to break them up. I remember that exact day

"Jessie! how have you and Cher been?" Leon, his best friend, said while patting his back and sitting next to them.

"Eh, she's so clingy. it's annoying"

"Break up with her, she's just a bet"

A bet? what does that mean? I leaned closer and kept listening.

"Remember the bet? If you can get down her pants in 3 months, You get $200 from Tom and I?"

So they're using Cher as a bet to get down her pants.

I always feel so bad.. I had to try and tell her though.. Right?

"Cher come here for a minute" I said plopping on the couch. After a minute or two I heard footsteps and then some jump onto my lap.

"Yes?" she said smiling

"Look, About Jessie he's-"

"Harry really? you're going to bring this up again?"

"Cher let me finish-"

No harry! stop trying to fucking break us up, You're just jealous aren't you!? Back off asshole" she yelled getting up

"Cher let me fucking finish! Jessie was in the locker room and he was talking with Leon about breaking up with you because you were to clingy! Then they said you were just a bet to see if he could get down your pans in 3 months! Cher you have to trust me on this one.. Please" I said now standing across from her

"Hey what's all the yelling for- oh hey Harry" I heard Jessie say walking in

"Is this all true?" Cher said turning to face him

"What'd ya mean babe?" he said leaning to kiss her

"Back off fuck face" she said pushing him away. "is that all I am to you? a bet? I thought you were different Jessie! and one month later, I find this out!? you are my first boyfriend and now you just screwed everything up you dumb ass! and I am not fucking clingy, It's called being in love" she said clenching her fists. she's been so much stronger lately.

"Cher, you're just some low life slut who thinks the whole world should revolve around you because your mum died. boo hoo, Get over it!" He said pushing her back causing her to fall on the ground. That was it, he crossed the line.

"Cher is not a fucking slut!" I said punching him straight in the face. he turned to me punching my chest, though it barely hurt. I punched him several more times.

"You don't know how to treat a girl right huh? Because Cher is the most sweetest most beautiful girl I have ever seen, You just let a beautiful, smart, talented girl fall through your hands and now you're going to regret it the rest of your life. now get out" I said pointing to the door. he moved a little to the door.

"OUT!" I said getting impatient. He ran out of the house as I ran to Cher's side.

"You- you think I'm beautiful?" she asked looking up at me. I pulled her on my lap and nodded, Tucking a piece of her loose hair behind her ear.

"You're gorgeous" I said our lips almost touching. Without one thought, I softly put my lips on hers.
