Diaries of a Lost teen: why do I try?

The ruinion

Chapter one;

It was the first day of seventh grade. Adalynn was so excited she got to see her friends again, after being 1000 miles away from them for three months. She missed her friends so much. Especially Lisa, Lauren, Amy, Leo, Pablo, and Jake. She couldn't wait to see them and tell them all about her time in California. Adalynn hasn't contacted them ever since summer break started. She just topped that they were all still close.

When Adalynn got to school she got a little nervous. She knew that this year wasn't going to be the same. She just hoped she wouldn't get caught in any drama, like last year. So many people were causing problems with Adalynn last year, they all called her the drama queen. Because where ever she went or whatever she did, she would always get caught up in drama.

"Adalynn!" She heard someone shout from behind her as she walked to the cafeteria.

She turned and saw her best friend, Lisa. They both ran so fast and gave each other the biggest hugs ever. It was like they were long lost siblings. Lisa was always like a sister to Adalynn. She'd always help her when Adalynn was stuck in a situation she couldn't solve. They've always been there for each other, no matter what.

"I missed you so much! We have a lot of catching up to do." Adalynn said with excitement.

" I know! It seems like forever since the last time we talked. Any boys in Cali I don't know about ?" Lisa asked.

"Actually, no. I mean there were a lot of cute guys, but no one special."

As they both entered the cafeteria, Lauren came running towards them, and gave them a big hug. Lauren was like their little sister. They always protected her. She's like the annoying little sister, but they still love her. As they were sitting at the table, Adalynn saw Leo and Pablo walk in the door. She shouted their names to tell them where she was. When they got to the table, Adalynn got up and gave them two a huge hug. They were like her big brothers. Adalynn didn't have any brothers. Only one sister Marylynn, who was a freshmen, which meant they had to go to different schools. But Adalynn was fine with it, because she had her three sisters, and three brothers. Adalynn then realized that Amy and Jake were still missing. She was sure if they moved or not, because she hasn't contacted Amy in a long time. But she knew that jake definitely didn't leave. They talked on the phone, texted, and face timed all summer.

Adalynn then saw Jake walking in the cafeteria. She got up and ran fast like the wind, jumped up and gave him a hug. Adalynn was closer to Jake, than the other guys. Adalynn was so short, whenever she had to hug Jake, he always had to bend down. Jake was taller than Pablo and Leo.

"I missed you so much! I'm glad we were still even talking during the summer!" Jake said.

"I missed you hella dude. And me too. But do you know if Amy is coming? Or did she move?" Adalynn asked Jake.

"I actually don't know. I broke up with her a month ago. And we never really stayed in touch after that." Stated Jake.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know. You never told me." She said to comfort him.

Adalynn then gave him a big hugged to make him feel better. As they were hugging, she saw Amy and she let go of him to run and give her a big hug. Amy didn't seem so happy at that time. She hugged Adalynn, but didn't say anything to her. Adalynn was kind of worried, because she didn't want to lose a close friend.
