Diaries of a Lost teen: why do I try?

The first day

Chapter two;

First period was just about to start. Adalynn's first class was applied tech. It was her favorite class, but she didn't know who she was going to have class with. She hoped she had it with Lisa or Lauren. 30 seconds before the bell rang, she saw Leo and Jake running through the door as if they were racing in the Olympics. Even if she didn't have that class with Lisa or Lauren, she was glad she had it with Jake and Leo.

"You're in this class too Adalynn?" Asked Leo.

"No Leo. I'm just sitting here to stalk you." Adalynn said sarcastically.

"Yes Leo, she's in this class." Jake explained to Leo.

"At least we have one class together so far right? I mean one is better than none." Said Jake.

Jake and Leo were the popular guys. They knew everybody, and everybody knew them. Adalynn was popular, but not as popular as the guys. Nobody really cared about what she did, all they cared about was if Leo or Jake liked them. Especially the girls. Though, they were popular, Jake was the one that all the girls were falling for. He was athletic, tall, had beautiful eyes, and a fun personality. Adalynn has always had a thing for Jake, but they were like brothers and sisters so she never told anyone. Also because him and Amy were an item last year. They were like each others whole world. When Adalynn found out that they broke up, she was so curious to know why.

"So Jake, why did you and Amy break up?"

"She was always so clingy. I mean I loved and cared about her, but she never let me do my own thing. And she always got jealous when ever I talk to other girls, or when they talked to me. I just couldn't deal with it anymore."

"Well, are you guys still friends?"

"No. I already have enough problems to deal with. The last thing I need is a jealous friend too. And besides, I already have two other girl friends, and an awesome best friend."

After a long day, Adalynn realized she had classes with all her friends. 4th & 5th period with Lisa, 3rd & 5th with Lauren, 6th with Amy, 2nd & 3rd with Pablo, 1st, 2nd & 4th with Leo, 1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th with Jake, and 7th with all sixth of them. She was glad she did because she would be baled to get closer to all of them. Even though her and Amy's friendship is hanging on a thread, she's glad she has a class with her. It'll give them a chance to make up for lost time.

Adalynn was exhausted when she got home. But she couldn't rest yet. She had volleyball practice. Adalynn's life revolved around volleyball, school, and friends. She was always a busy person. After she was back from volleyball, she had to do homework, eat dinner, shower, then what she always does, either at the end of the week, or after a long busy day filled with details, Adalynn always has to write in her diary.
