He gets a puppy

-Mark's POV-

I get out the tiny box from the passenger side and bring it to the door.

"Okay, You have to be quiet, Alpha. Y/n doesn't know yet, buddy." I say tp the black and whit husky. I open the door and see y/n sitting on the couch, watching y/f/s. She looks over at me and smiled.

"Hey Mark. What's in the box.?"

"Oh, nothing. How would you feel if we were to have a dog?" I ask, trying not to make it seem obvious. Her eyes grew wide and she stood up to face me.

"Mark, did you get a dog?!"

"Of course not." She opened the box and Alpha popped out, happy to be out.

"I thought you didn't get a dog, Mark!"

"I didn't... I got a puppy. Come on, y/n. He's really cute. How can you tell him no?" She looked at me and looked at him.

"No." She walked to our room and I set Alpha on the leather couch.

"Y/n, I know you don't want to keep him, but he's really friendly. You need a pick-me-up anyway. I thought that he'd make you feel better." Y/n never had a good experience with animals. Her family would always make her 'throw out' any animal that she found. If they saw her trying to help an animal, they'd get angry. It ruined her whole outlook on them.

"Mark, you know why I don't want him. I can't do it."

"You can't live life in their wrath. You use to love dogs. Can you give him a chance?" She sighed.

"Okay but, you're taking care him." As I'm about to answer, I hear a small bark at the doorway. I look and see Alpha, stumbling while running. I pick him up and put him of y/n's lap.

"It's Alpha. And look at that. He likes you." I ruffle the fur on his head and he wags his tail. Y/n pets him softly and smiles to herself.

-Time Skip-

I walk to the living room, after recording, and see y/n cuddled up to Alpha as they sleep. I gently shake y/n and she wakes up.

"Come on, babe. Let's go to the room." She nods and picks up Alpha, taking him with her to our room. She gets on her side of the bed and puts him between us. I smile and turn off the lamp.
