Don't waste all of your energy fighting something that you probably won't be able to change anyway. It isn't a question of recognizing this - you probably already realize it. It is more a matter of accepting what you already know. Instead of beating your fists against a brick wall, Taurus, accept the circumstances that exist, and come up with a new way of getting what you want. It is still possible if you aren't stubborn. If you use that energy to be productive instead of angry, you'll go places.
