Jacob and I just sit there laughing at some idiots in the park, until he stops.
"Hailey, you are really beautiful." He gazes into my eyes.
I blush, "Thanks."
He leans in and my heart skips a beat. My eyes flutter shut and he leaves the lightest kiss the linger. It was sweet... until his ex walked over.
"What the hell, Jacob?!" She whined.
Gosh I wish a bus would come and hit her, but I just sat back and minded my own business.
"Yes?" Jacob looked at her.
"What are you doing?"
"I was kissing my girlfriend." He winked and smiled at me.
It sent chills through my body.
"Girlfriend?" She asks confused.
"Yeeesss. Girlfriend."
"Buh. Buh. But... I thought we were cool?" She started to whimper.
Jacob looked at me and I nodded. Jacob turned his body and took her hands into his.
"Look Lauren, we are cool. But, that doesn't mean we're together. It means... We're friends." He said genuinely.
It made me kind of jealous. I smirked, a little, to myself.
"Oh. OK. I understand." She sniffled, smiled, and walked away.
"So, I'm your girlfriend?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Do you wanna be?"
I smile and he kisses me strongly.
