"Mommy! Mommy!" Amelia yelled as she ran into her mothers art room.
Since they had returned from Texas, they moved to a larger home that would fit Farkle and his family, and Zay when they would visit. The children had lots of space to run and play all they want.
"Yes doll" Maya said picking up the almost two year old who was waiting at her legs.
"Somebody is at the door!" She said and smiled happily.
"Hey hun. Hey princess" Lucas said approaching out of his office.
"Hey Lucas, could you get the door for me. I gotta clean this paint up and then i'll be down to start dinner. Thanks" Maya said handing Amelia to Lucas.
As Maya began to set the paint away, Lucas and Amelia went downstairs to greet their guest.
"Hey, sorry for not answering sooner." Lucas said openening the door.
"Oh" Lucas started, regretting himself apologizing.
He stared at non other than his ex-girlfriend, His ex friend.
Riley Matthews.
"Hi! I'm Amelia Rose Friar!" Amelia said from her fathers arms.
"Yeah whatever "Amelia" Riley Mocked towards the one year old held in her fathers arm.
Riley had never appreciated Lucas and Maya having kids. It was just one step farther from getting Lucas back.
Lucas, who was now clearly irritated chose to ignore her sly comment and continued.
"What do you need Riley." He said annoyed.
"Maya. I came here to apologize."
"You do realize you broke her heart"
"I know, and that's why i'm here." Riley smiled like her old self.
Lucas said and ran his fingers through his hair, which he had always done when stressed out.
"Look, I know what I did was wrong. But just hear me out. I'm sorry. And I need to apologize to Maya."
"I'll be back." Lucas said turning and walking up the stairs to the art room to find Maya.
