Chris's POV
Sofie gave me directions to a small cabin outside of the state and told me that this is were we'd be staying for a while.
,
"I'm so sorry" she apologized for the 15th time as we walked into the cabin.
"It's fine, sof, what is this place?"
"My friend Rosey got it for her birthday. She rarely comes here though cause she never liked the woods, she's a city girl, but anyway she said I could use it and gave me a key."
"Woah." I said.
"Ya. I know. There's only one bedroom so I'll sleep on the couch." she said and I gave her a look. No way she was sleeping on the couch with the day she had.
On a normal day we could probably sleep together but I knew she thought my girlfriend, Carmen, would mind.
What Sof didn't know is that we broke up. If I said it was mutual I'd be lying, I broke up with her, she was getting to clingy.
I decided I should probably tell Sofie... she'd find out soon enough, Carmen's the queen of gossip.
"I broke up with Carmen you know, you dong have to keep your distance."
Sofie's POV
I had to stop myself from hugging him right there. God, I really didn't like that chick. She was so... blond.
I'm not kidding. She had about 10 iq points and absolutely hated me. Chris knew it to, he also knew the feeling was mutual.
I hated the idea of Chris being with that .... right I'm not allowed to swear.
I wanted to rant on him, but instead I just said, "THANK YOU JESUS!!! Come on." I pushed him into the bedroom and said "I'm gonna take a shower."
I turned the water onto scorching and jumped in. I hated cold showers.
I got out. To find my black sweatpants and my black tank top that I sleep in on the counter. I changed and went back into the bedroom.
For being on the run, our night was pretty awesome. We watched movies and listened to music and ate popcorn.
Chris fell asleep at about 1am with his arm around my waist, holding onto me for dear life. I sighed and felt my eyelids droop closed. I kept on having to remind myself we were safe, but I felt horrible for dragging him into this. He didn't even know what I did to deserve it.
I decided to deal with my problems when they came to me, like I always do.
With that, I gave into sleep and the blackness surrounding me.
