Alec mutters something inaudible  as he laid in the bed covered in a layer of sweat with Magnus Bane above him using his magic trying to pull Alec out of a state of limbo."Its not working" Isabelle mutters looking at Magnus obviously frustrated at how she wasn't able to anything to help her older brother "I'm sorry Isabelle,parabatai bonds are like a tether that binds two souls Jace and Alec share emotions,instincts strength its an angelic bond my magic can only do so much" Magnus states concentrating on the work at hand his magic never wavering away from Alec.

"So Jace is like this too?" I question pushing off from the wall I was leaning on interested now Magnus looks at me doubtfully before stopping his magic and answering "not necessarily it appears when Alec called out to him part of his soul never returned now hes stuck,lost somewhere between himself and his parabatai".

Magnus moves him hands again so that his magic was back on Alec "so if Jace brought back that missing piece of his soul" Isabelle looks at Magnus hopefully "then he may very well have the cure" Magnus responds catching onto what Isabelle was suggesting. 

"Whatever we do we need to do it quickly" Magnus adds looking at Isabelle who bites her lips and nods "stay with Alec,I'll go find Jace" "I'll come with" I add getting ready to leave this very tense atmosphere.

"No" Isabelle retorts her voice harsh and authoritative "your going to stay with Magnus" "says who?" I question stepping towards Isabelle grinding my teeth "I did,unless your short of hearing I recommend you do as I say" noticing  Isabelle reaching for her whip I lurch forward and grip her wrist.

Struggling to break away from my grasp I take her other hand releasing her wrist and quickly spinning her arm around making her twirl back towards Magnus."Bitch" she mutters as she walks towards me taking out her whip "bring it on whore" I respond with a loop sided smile bringing out chakrams from my weapons belt clinking them together."Girls please we don't have time for this" Magnus intervenes stepping in between us "Seraphina please stay with me I'll need your help,and Isabelle go on find Jace" taking my arm he walks back besides the bed as Isabelle exits the room both of us sharing an intense glare.

"What do you need me for exactly?" I ask placing my hands on hips and shifting my weight to one leg "nothing really currently,but I  will need you sooner or later you could lend me some of your energy when my energy is running low"Magnus drawls on focusing his magic on Alec once more concentrated as ever.

"So this is your excuse,for pulling me away from my orders" I roll my irritated plopping myself next to Alec which in hind sight isn't a good idea "what were your orders exactly?" Magnus responds eyeing me curiously "to help Alec at any extent and that means catching the person who put him in this position" "I would like to think that you sacrificing your energy to save Alexander is bigger than you capturing Jace".

"You have a point downworlder" "there it is with that term again" Magnus mutters frustrated "you Aldertree's love using that term to belittle me and my people" he finishes glaring at me."I didn't mean to insult you,I mean that is what you are like if someone called me a Shadowhunter I wouldn't be angry I would wear my title proudly" my response obviously didn't make a difference cause Magnus still held his glare "you would wear that title because Shadowhunters are smiled upon,in stories people fantasize about becoming a Shadowhunter and protecting the world from Downworlders,ironic isn't it how the world fears Downworlders ignoring the fact that a Shadowhunter is the one causing the fear" he finishes smirking.

I was stunned he had made his point and I didn't like it "Valentine shouldn't be counted as Shadowhunter anymore" I state locking my jaw."What should he be counted for then,a downworlder?" his voice turning malicious his eyes glowing a yellow green reminding me of a cat's eye.
