"Megan…Megan hun get up we have to finish packing." my mom said as she opened my curtains. i groaned and sat up. "tell me why we have to move again?" i asked. "Because, Tennessee isn’t working out for us anymore. Trust me sweetie you’ll love California." "Doubt it." i replied i got dressed and went downstairs to help pack things up. "I cannot WAIT until i get to California! there are so many hot guys there." my sister, Olivia said "Olivia there are more important things in life other than boys." i said "Like What?" "Um well family, food, clean water, having a roof over your head, having a warm bed to sleep in. many people would kill to have what we have." she gave me a confused look. like she didn’t understand what i was saying "Um…okay well that’s your opinion" she said as she walked up the stairs. Whoever said the little sister is the annoying one, was wrong. a few minutes later we had everything packed and put in the car. "Well Ladies, ready to go?" my dad asked. "as ready as im going to get.." i said "Oh don’t be like that Megan! how much you wanna bet as soon as we get there you’ll find every guy there attractive." i rolled my eyes at her "a Dollar." i said sarcastically. it took forever but we finally got there. we pulled up to the house and started unloading the boxes. i went upstairs to pick my room. i saw a room with a walk in closet, a big window and a bathroom. "My room. Defiantly." i said looking over at my dad "Okay kiddo," he replied setting my box of comic books on the floor. All of the sudden, my sister screamed. "What what what!?!" i asked "This room its perfection it must be mine!" she said. how could someone make such a big deal over a room?. "Why don’t you girls go walk around the boardwalk?" my mom asked "Sure! lets go Megan!" Olivia said as she pulled me outside. We walked around for a few minutes until she ran off for some guys on motorcycles. i didn’t mind it much i mean she was pretty annoying. i noticed a comic book store and walked towards it. i was kinda afraid to go in there. but i got the courage to walk in. I looked around for a minute and noticed two boys watching me. i just brushed it off. maybe i look like an outsider. i started looking at the comics when i saw that they were still watching. i turned around and asked "Do you guys need anything or??" They looked at each other then looked back at me "No..just..looking." the Brunette said "Oh..Well okay.." i said, continuing to look around. "Your not from here..are you?" the blonde asked "..Nope..just moved here." i replied "From where?" "Tennessee" they looked confused "Tennessee? Really?" the Brunette asked "Yes..what don’t get many girls in here?" i said sarcastically "Not like you, no.." the brunette said. "Like me? am i different than other girls?" "Yeah..not in a bad way.." the blonde said "Good. cause i wouldn’t want to come off as a bad person." i said smirking. "What’s your name?" the blonde asked "Megan." "Well I’m Edgar and this is Alan" he said. I smiled "Nice to meet you." i said "You too" Alan Replied "So..do you guys work here?" i asked looking around "Yeah, but we’re dedicated to a higher purpose. We’re fighters for truth, justice, and the American way." Edgar said "Ooohh," i said "Do you believe in Vampires?" Alan asked i let out a little giggle "Vampires?" i said "You should..Because their everywhere here." Edgar added I rolled my eyes and continued looking at the Batman comics "Here..Take this." Edgar said as he handed me a comic that read "Vampires Everywhere" "Okay i’ll read it but if you think it’ll make me believe in Vampires your sadly mistaken.." They smirked and walked away. Edgar and Alan..They were different but seemed cool.. Later that night i was upstairs in my room reading the book when my sister came in and sat down on my bed "So guess what!" she said "What now?" i asked "I got a boys number! they were really cool. they rode motorcycles and wore leather jackets." "Ohhh, What’s his name?" I asked "David…i think..yeah, David!" she replied "Oh well cool..um..can you get out please im almost done with this comic." i asked in the nicest way possible..for me. "Fine miss grumpy" She said as she shut the door. i still didn’t believe in Vampires even after reading the comic. I was staring to think they were crazy.
