I was watching 'America's Best Dance Crew' alone, when Mom came in.
"Hey Honey! How's your day?" She said while she carried some bags to the kitchen. "I heard about the pointe shoes a while ago, I was wondering when you were going to tell me" She looked at me sadly. "Y'know you can trust me, right?"
"I know mom, but there's nothing you should know right now, well nothing really big to be excited about" I said, telling the truth. She looked at me with a smirk. Have I forgotten something?
"Nothing? How about, do you love someone?" I really hate the 6th sense that all mother have.
"Not exactly, but I think I have a cruch" I have to tell her the truth, you really don't want to meet her when she's angry. She's like Chucky, version 2.0. Scarry!
"Look, all you need to know's that he also dances and he's really hot" I said the truth. There mom, you have it!
"Ok honey, don't worry. Just get to know him, maybe he likes you too" She said with a warm smile "Just like your father and I. Y'know the story, when we first met, he told me 'You´re going to be the mother of my daughter'. I was so shocked that I slapped him on the face" She laughed."I miss him, and I know you do too" She said sadly.
FYI, my dad is fine, he's not dead. He just works away from his home and lives there too, in other words, I get to see him like once month for a weekend.
"I do miss him mom, but I just have to get used to this. Because I'm going to be alone someday, y'know" I said cheering her up.
"It doesn't have to be that way" She said sadly.
"Please mom, stop! I don't want to talk about this again" I said with all the pain of losing my dad. I walked away, not wanting to talk about my dad.

"Keep the good work, Miss Alice. But let your knees look to your sides, straighten your back and rise your chin!" Mrs. Bahmask shouted a little. I was tired, I couldn't put my head where I was supposed to. But it wasn't my feet that bothered me, it was my heart. Rob was so close to me, that I could feel his breath and heartbeat. Not normal!
I tried to calm myself by walking a little bit, it wasn't working so I sat down.
"Ali, you are tense. Are you ok, need a rest?" He whispered from my back. I almost forgot him, he's like a shadow, a hot one! He took my hand a guided me to a chair. I sat down and looked at my red-ish and hurted feet.
"I see you are tired, Miss Alice. Take a break, I'll came back soon" Mrs. Bahmask said understanding my pain and leaving the room.
"What's wrong with you!" Rob shouted. It was weird he's really angry right know, I really can tell that. I looked at him trying to say something. What's his problem! Why is he angry!
Without thinking I shouted too "What's wrong with you! I mean I'm tired, I need to rest!" I stood up and got closer to him.
"I know that you need to rest but, have you seen yourself dancing! It's pathetic! Look at your arms as you do the turns and look at your face as I touch you!" He said angrily and stepping closer.
"Wooow, chill down! Are you saying I'm not perfect? Guess what ballet-boy, I've been dancing for a month and one week! What were you expecting, a pro? I'm not a ballerina, I'm a hip hop dancer ! You....Jerk!" I couldn't say another word, he was exactly that, a jerk. I turned around and looked at the mirror.
Yes, that's what I'm a hiphop dancer, as in soul and flesh. I'm not going to change just because of this. Because I know I suck at this... what a shame for the school... They're going to put me as a primadonna and I suck.
