Krissy's P.O.V
Hmmmm where do I start
Let's just start from the beginning
My Mom cheated on what was supposed to be my father with Derrick cook my father she got pregnant with me, she had me on July 24,1999 in Alexandra, Louisiana . I was the second child my brother Byron was the first he was born August 12,1997 bunkie Louisiana. And then there was my little sister lyndell she's by the man who was supposed to be my father born August 30,2000 now let's fast forward a bit to where my life started to take a turn to some of the worse days of my life
~June 20,2012~
Keshia: everyone get ready to sing happy birthday
Yeah in no what your thinking "its not your birthday" trust me I'm well aware of that I sometimes celebrated my birthday twice one before n one on the day of
Everybody: Happy birthday day to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear krissy, happy birthday to yooooouu

I make a wish as I blow out my candles, and my wish is that my dad would stay because prior to this moment he brought me outside and told me that he had to leave and attend to his other kids, at that moment I just had except the fact that he was leaving.

Derrick: *while parking his bags suddenly stops and turns to krissy* I promise I'll come back just count down ok I'll be back in no time ok

Krissy: ok I will are you ready

Derrick: yeah let's go

They walk out the room and to the car owned by someone staying with her named Nicole as they drive krissy sits and thinks about every thing they did while her dad visited and what they'll do when he gets back.

As they approach the bus station she gets sad knowing that's their last minutes together. The car comes to a stop. And her n her dad gets out.

Derrick: *hugs krissy tight* I love you OK and I promise I will come back I promise

Krissy: ok dad

All the while trying to hold back tears that wanted to escape badly. She gets in the car and they drive away
~skips until next year may 13,2013~

Walking and conversing with her younger cousin on the way home from middle school she gets this eery felling inside but ignores it she continues to talk

Krissy: yeah she was like all up in her face talking all hype *bol*

Duke: yeah man I bet she needed a mint the way Nana turned her nose up

As they both laughed so hard about to be in tears krissy's step father pulled up on side of them in their red expedition

Duke: ain't that your step dad right there

Krissy looks up confused as to why he would be picking her up he's never picked her up before but let it go

Krissy: yeah come on let's see if he'll give you a ride to

As they approach the car she opens the door and asked

Krissy: hey can duke get a ride to

Brandon: yeah sure come on let's go

So they hop in and start driving to their destination

Brandon: so how was yalls day

Both krissy and duke look at one another with a questionable look but both answer with a good

As they approach dukes apartment they all say their goodbyes. They finally approach their own and they get out of the car

Krissy gets this really bad feeling in the pit of her stomach and trys hard to be rid of it while Brandon has a distinct facial expression then they walk In

Krissy: hey guys

Byron: *hugs her* I'm so sorry

Krissy: for what

Byron: nothing mom wants you in her room

She thinks that's odd but just says ok and abides by his rule and walks down they hall where her moms room was

When she walked in she sees everyone with sad faces and some with teary eyes

Mom: hey have a set for me

She wanted to question the looks on their face but thought against it and sat in her favorite chair in the house then he mom continued

Mom: so you remember when you dad said he was coming back

Krissy: yeah he said that like 6 months ago

Mom: damn you've been counting

Everyone : *laughs*

Krissy: yeah I mean he's my dad and I miss him

Mom: well *clears her throat* the reason why he didn't come back is-is because he passed away

And at that point her whole world stopped and at first she thought he was gonna jump it from somewhere and it was all a joke but when everyone started to cry tears of hurt everything hit her

She came to the realization that her dad would never come back to visit or call or text she would never forget what his face looked like or his voice or the memories they shared

And what made the whole situation even worse was that the night they told her the funeral was the next day so she couldn't attend

She's had a hard life ever since....

It almost made me cry because this was a real experience that happened to me yeah I'm krissy
