Chapter 2

Zane POV

    I was reading a novel in bed . The novel was interesting . Although ,Travis name was written inside . It probably belongs to him .

    My stomach rumbles . My throat kinda hurts . But I still feel warm .I'm still lingering in my thoughts and can't figure it out . I feel like there is something that is missing . It could just be my memories . Right ?

"Zane !" Garroth said ,smashing the door ,"It's time to get out ."

"Get out ?" I said .

"Yeah , you are getting picked up by your friend ," He said , grabbing my hand .

    He took me out of the door . I see a hallway . With people _ I don't know . He holds my hand tight and walks really fast .

"Hey!" Vylad said out loud ,waving his hand up .

   Garroth goes towards him. He let go of my hand and I follow them . I'm lost here . Where am I  going ?! Where are they going ?! Wait _ where is Travis ?

    I see cars and families here . I see one car through the window .I  try to observe . Wait !_ isn't that Travis ?!  Travis turned his head towards my direction .He waves . Is he waving to me ? My heart skipped a beat . 

I turn my back and see a woman waving her hand in his direction . Do they know each other ? She starts walking in his direction . I wonder ...? If they are a thing ? She does look beautiful and Ideal to Travis . I don't care ! I don't know him at all . I just need to focus on getting things settled , then going to freedom lake .. With Travis . I guess .

"Zane ?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you staring at Travis's date ? With that expression ? "Vylad said looking at me , concerned .

"Uh , it's nothing ," I said .

"I won't believe it's nothing . But we can talk about it when we get in the car . You will feel more comfortable with your roommate ," Vylad said , calmly , and that made me feel better .

I nodded and we start to go outside . Garroth waved towards someone that came out the car with an jacket .

    She looks exactly like the girl from my dreams . She came towards me and put the jacket around me . I felt somewhat ... Nostalgic .

"Hi ! I'm Aphmau ," She gave a chuckle and a warm smile .

"I'm Z-Zane ."

"Don't worry . I know all about you . Your my friend ."

   I smile and Garroth told me to go in the car . I sat in the car . I see a man in the front seat . Garroth , Vylad , and Aphmau waved .

    The windows suddenly opened .they were saying bye . Wait ? What ? That means they are leaving me in here ..

"Aren't you guys coming ?" I ask .

"No , they are gonna go home . And you will go to your apartment . The guy over there is your roommate . Hi , Veon ! Any way , I'm coming in ," Vylad said .

Vylad came inside and sat beside me . I wave to Aphmau and Garroth . Vylad did as well . The car started to move and a moment past .

"Zane . Why were you staring at Travis and his date with an awful expression ? " Vylad said , in a soft tone .

" I'm not sure . I mean , I don't have a problem with it .. I just ... Nevermind ," I said , scratching my head .

"Ah , Travis . That guy ," Veon said .

His voice sounds.....Familiar . I guess he is safe to be around , for now .

"You make him sound like he is your secret rival ," Vyald said .

"He does piss me off. A lot ," Veon said .

"Why ?" I ask .

"Because .."

"Because ?" I say .

"Yeah , because ," He replied .

Time has skipped and we arrived . Vyald told me on the way that he will be living with me until Garroth fixes the door .

Veon opened the door and I entered with him . I see a tv , couch , and the kitchen . I looked at Veon .

"Vylad we have an extra room . So you can sleep there . Don't worry , there is an bed . Zane , you are coming with me ," Veon said .

He grabbed my hand and walked to the room . The room had an green background . There were two beds and each was at an opposite side . There was a desk in the middle .

Veon closed the door and stared at me seriously . He approached me .

"Zane . Even though you don't remember anything . I will tell you something . _Don't ever do something so reckless like going out , running fast and get hit by the car ," Veon sighed and then his hands was in the wall with his body in front of me .

"You had me worried sick , when I got out of the hospital !I'm really blessed that you are alive because !that car accident was really serious . You could have died and I would be really devastated for the rest of my life ,"Veon clenched his hands ."I will help you bring back your memories ."

I stare at his dark purple hair with red eyes . He looked so worried . My eyes went wide . I think I'm remembering something , now .

"I'm sorry .__Thank you ," I said, hugging him . Surprisingly he hugged me back.

" I will go get you food ," He said , smiling .
