CHAPTER 1

Everything is so blurred..

I am following a man in front of me. suddenly, he was gone and I ran and ran but I cannot find him anywhere.

Then, an old woman gave me a thing and told me not to remove it until I found the one I was looking for then I fell into a cliff....

I suddenly woke up. What was that dream? I already forgot. I sat up slowly, feeling nauseous.
Why am I in a boat? I don't understand what is happening. Where am I? I thought to myself. I am starting to panic but I recollected myself. Try to keep it together. I noticed that I'm almost at the shore so I paddled to get there fast. Once I got to the shore, I got off the boat quickly.

As I take into my surroundings, I've noticed that this place is weird and very unfamiliar. Never have I been this place. Just this once. Still, I have no clue as to where on earth I would be. Or I guess I'm not on earth? Hmm..

Upon looking at the place, I really want to have answers to my question. How did I get here? I don't know. Racking my brain for answers isn't helping that's why I stoop up and began to wander at this weird place. A few meters from the coast, I saw weird looking skyscrapers with different architectural but ancient designs.

All of these things seem foreign to me, I don't even know how I got here in the first place. I just have this gut feeling that I should stay away from people.

I slowly approached towards the place from where the noise is coming from. I don't want to be seen that's why I hid myself in a corner. I've notice that my clothing is different from them. It's like this place is made for elite people. Women are wearing gown-like dresses with detailed designs and a lot of accessories. Actually, if you are asking me, their looks can be compared to peacocks. Don't get me wrong but that's my way of comparing. On the other hand, men are wearing coats and what I assume is a formal wear. Most of them are in black.

What is the problem with people here? Is this the land of peacocks and peahens?

Also, these people seemed so pale and this place seems so dark.

Another thing is that people are talking. But I cannot understand a single word. What kind of alienated language they are using?

Suddenly, people were passing by and My heart suddenly skipped upon seeing a man in that vehicle. But that suddenly changed into fear as I saw a man running for his dear life and those who are chasing him did not fail in seizing him.

I did not realized that I was already out from the corner and exposed from people with rising eyebrows. All of a sudden, I began running away from the people and away from those who are now seizing me.

As I ran on every corner, I feel a sudden pain on my back and made me feel sleepy. I fought the feeling of dosing off but before I fell asleep, I saw a shadow of a man and asked for his help. Though I'm not sure that they can understand my language, I let out a "help" loud enough for him to hear. Before I got knocked out, I felt strong hands lifting me up and with that, I dozed off to sleep.
