Bang Bang! - Kiyoko x Reader

As the boys from the Karasuno and Nekoma volleyball teams fangirled over Kiyoko's appearance, her co-manager was glowering in the shadows, squeezing a volleyball as tightly as she could without popping it. She hated how, though they were both equally beautiful, none of the boys noticed her like they did the other manager of Karasuno.

She often thought to herself about why that could be, coming up with no straight answers and only mere speculations. Perhaps her boobs weren't as pert and perky as her superior's, or maybe it was because she was a second year. She shook her head, dismissing those simple things. There had to be something else! She noticed what the other manager was wearing; a cutesy jogging outfit that hugged, but didn't show off, her figure. Then, she looked at her own outfit. She was wearing a low-cut, Karasuno t-shirt and spandex shorts that showed off her body and voluptuous curves with ease. Y/n, as this was the second manager's name, also thought about their personalities.

Kiyoko was more of a soft-spoken manager, sweet and meek and doing innocent things that made the boys go crazy with attraction. She blushed when they paid attention to her, and she didn't even seem that interested in them! It infuriated Y/n on so many levels! Especially when she had realized that Kiyoko showed no interest in the guys who fawned over her... until Y/n arrived.

Y/n decided to reflect on her own character, trying to envision herself as if she was someone else looking down on her. She dressed much more... seductively, one could say, than her senior, and she certainly wasn't sweet. She would flirt with the boys, smiling sexily at them while they tried, (and failed), to keep their eyes off her boobs. She didn't ignore any of them, often allowing them to walk her home and giving them kisses as rewards for their deeds! Y/n could see the red swimming in her eyes; she just didn't get it! What did Kiyoko have that she didn't!

Finally, with one last squeeze of frustration, she popped the ball. It let out a resonating noise that reached the others' ears, and they all turned from Kiyoko to stare at her. She dropped the deflated ball and laughed quietly, causing the boys to dismiss what she had done and turn back to Kiyoko.

Said girl, who knew exactly of Y/n's plight with her, smirked as they wept at her feet. She mouthed to Y/n, 'Meet me outside...' Y/n was a bit nervous, but then she thought about Nishinoya and Tanaka, who shrieked about Kiyoko every time she fucking breathed, and her resolution was resolved. She squared her shoulders and passed the cooing boys, personally surprised that Ukai hadn't hollered at them to get to work.

Once Y/n was outside, she decided to stare at the stars. She knew everyone would think it to be suspicious if Kiyoko immediately followed her out, so she would have at least another five minutes to think about what Kiyoko would want before the girl would actually be coming to her.

The stars reminded her of her plight with Kiyoko, Y/n decided almost immediately. There was one star that everyone admired, shining brightly and overshadowing all those around it. Stargazers, as the boys were in this case, would often be completely enhanced by the star and ignore those around it, no matter how much they tried to shine. She clenched her fist and jerked her head towards the ground; she decided she hated stars, too.

Not a moment after hitting this amazing revelation, Kiyoko was standing outside. Her body was pressed against the doorframe, and she causally glanced inside to make sure none of the boys were hovering before speaking.

"I know why you're angry." She said, and Y/n laughed dryly.

"Huh, really? Because I thought that you called me out here so we could paint each other's goddamn fingernails!" She snapped, turned to glare at her superior. Y/n had lots of respect for those in higher positions and older than her, but when she was angry, she couldn't even think straight, let alone be polite. She would completely forgo the honorifics, more than she already did, and snarl like she was a wild cat.
