Chapter 5

(Y/n)

I walk down the halls trying to find my brother or someone I know. Why is this school so huge?!

I turn a corner and see the group of three that I saw at the park. Then the bell rings. I groan. "Damn it." I mutter to myself.

"Ooo~ new girl is having trouble." I hear a female voice say. I look up and meet a pair of purple eyes. "Wow. Your eyes are so pretty." I say. "Aww thank you. What's your name?" She asks. "(Y/n). What about you?" "Sasha. And these two idiots are Gene and Zenix." Both boys growl. I giggle. "Aren't you Garroth's new sis?" Gene asks. I nod.

"So, I'm guessing him and his friends told you to stay away from us." Gene states. "They did." "Then why are you talking to us?" Sasha asks. "I hate it when people tell me to stay away from someone. I will go off of my own opinion." I explain.

"Oh. So, are you lost?" Gene asks. I smile. "I might be..." The three chuckle. "What's your first class?" Sasha asks and walks over to me. "I have magi-" "(Y/n)!"

I turn to see Laurance running over to me. He glares at the three. "Love, why are you talking to these jerks?" He asks in an irritated tone. "Love?" He stares into my eyes. "I meant (Y/n)." He smiles.

"Laurance, can't you see we're trying to help (Y/n) out?" Sasha states. "Help her? More like make her join your group. Come on (Y/n)." He wraps his arm around me and we walk away. "Bye guys!" I yell to them and wave.

"(Y/n) what are you doing?" Laurance asks as we turn a corner. "I was talking to people." I say. "Don't talk of them." He commands. "Don't tell me who I can and can't talk to." I glare at him. He stops and steps in front of me.

"I will tell you. You can choose not to listen to me, but I will tell you anyway." I continue to glare at him. "Can you just take me to my class?" I ask in an irritated tone. "What's your class?" "Magiks." He nods. "Follow me." He walks and I follow him.

"Here ya are." He says and we stop in front of a class. "Thank you Laurance." He turns around to walk, but then turns back around. "By the way, you look good in uniform." He winks and walks away. I roll my eyes. I turn and enter the class.

Earlier today, there were barely any students in the halls. So nobody really paid attention to me. I started to think that what my brothers said was a lie. Until I stepped foot in the class.

I knocked on the door. Everyone looked to where the sound had come from. Everyone's breathing stopped. I awkwardly smile and the teacher starts to speak. "Hello." She smiles. I smile back. "Hi, umm I'm new and well I got a little lost." I awkwardly smile.

Everyone still had their eyes on me. I noticed a couple of the guys drooling. "Are you (Y/n)?" The lady asks. I nod. "Wonderful. Take a seat anywhere you would like." I look around the room. Everyone has a hopeful look in their eyes.

I hear a chuckle from a familiar voice. I look around and I see Katelyn and Lucinda. I smile and walk over to their table. A couple people groan once I sit down. "Hey guys." I whisper. "Hey." Katelyn whispers back. "Hello sweetie." Lucinda whispers. I smile and continue to feel eyes on me.

I shift around uncomfortably and Katelyn notices all the eyes on me. She raises her hand. "Ms. Hyria, can I say something to the class about my friend (Y/n) here?" The teacher looks at her confused then notices all the eyes that are on me. She nods.

Katelyn stands up and clears her throat. "Now all of you listen up. My friend here feels uncomfortable with all of your stares. Yes, she is very beautiful and that causes you to not be able to take your eyes off her. But for all of you guys, stop staring at her like she is a piece meat. Or you'll have to deal with me." Katelyn sends daggers at everyone in the room and they all automatically look away.

She sits down and smiles. "Thank you." I say. "Anything for a friend." She smiles and looks at the teacher. "Thank you Ms. Fire Fist. Now let's continue on with the lesson." The teacher turns around and starts writing on the board.

Through out the lesson and can feel a couple pairs of eyes continue to stare at me.

"So, how are all of your classes going?" Garroth asks me as we sit down at a table with some of my friends and m brothers for lunch. "Fine. Everyone keeps staring at me, but I'm used to it." I smile at him. "That's good... I guess. Do you have any classes with anyone you know?" Laurance asks and takes a bite out of his food.

"Yea. Since I'm advanced in everything, I'm in the senior classes. So, I have Laurance in math, Garroth in science, Lucinda and Katelyn in magiks, Aph in pe and art, and I have yet to go to werewolf class." I sigh and take a bite of food. "I've met a couple of people. Like Kawaii~Chan, Travis, and Teony." I say and motion to the three.

"Yea, (Y/n). It's really nice to meet you." Teony says with a smile. "Same here." I smile back. "How are you so smart?" Dante asks. "That's a secret." I say and place my index finger over my mouth. Everyone chuckles. I giggle and look around the crowded cafeteria.

My eyes land on a boy. Looks around Garroth's age, he has scars on his face, black eyes, black hair. He stares at me for a couple seconds. Then walks out of the cafeteria. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" I feel myself being shook.

"What?" I ask. "You zoned out. Are you ok?" Aphmau asks. I nod. "Yea. I'm fine." I mutter. "(Y/n) can we talk to you?" I hear a familiar voice ask and hear growls from behind me. I look up to see...
