Chloe
"So hey Chloe, maybe we could grab coffee together?", Jay asks, slipping on his tee shirt.
"How many times do I tell you, Jay? We only hook up. Nothing else. I mean the only reason we hook up again and again is because you're my childhood friend. You know I don't do the same guy twice otherwise.", I respond, struggling to wear my bra.
"Yeah, I know.", he frowns.
"Man! I can't find my shirt."
"You can wear one of mines."
"I don't wear anyone else's clothes, Jay. Do you need a reminder of how big of a bitch I am?", I growl.
"Don't call yourself that. You're perfect to me.", he wraps one of his arms around my waist and traces little circles over my breast from the other.
"Jay..", I say trying to pull away.
"Shhh..", he bends and starts kissing my belly, slowly moving his way up and kissing my breasts, then neck..
"Woah! Stop.", I jerk away when he tries kissing me on the lips. "How many times do I tell you that no one kisses me on the lips?"
"But why wouldn't you let anyone kiss them?"
"Because I don't want to. Now get away.", I push past him and find my shirt. Slipping it on, I leave Jay's room slamming the door shut behind me.
I've warned Jay a million times to not kiss me on the lips, we could've totally done another round if he wasn't such an asshole.
Jay and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. More like friends with benefits. He was the first guy I ever slept with. I know Jay has these genuine good boy feelings for me but he also knows that I don't do romantic relationships. I hook up with random guys, here and there and that's all.
I've explained Jay so many times to get a real girlfriend if that's what he wants. Despite all the things we've done, Jay is one of the only two real friends I have and I'll be more than happy to stop hooking up with him if he finds a girl he wants to be serious with.
The only thing he needs to remember is, I can't be that girl for him. Or for anyone.
"Chloe.. wait up!", Paige shouts from behind me.
Paige is the second real friend I have. We met in freshman year and she is the only one who didn't judge me for my "only-hookup-no-dating" tendencies. She has tried to explain me to find a boyfriend few times though, but she knows better than to push it.
"Paige.. hey!", I grin.
"So, there's this super cool event happening in our college tomorrow."
"And by super cool event you mean the benefactors meet?", I roll my eyes.
"Dude! Do you have any idea of who is attending the event?", she squeals.
"Who?"
"Landon Tucker."
"And who is that?"
"Chloe.", she smacks me on the arm. "He is the youngest benefactor of our college and god, from what I've heard about him, he is very hot."
"So?"
"So we're attending because I want to see who he is."
"Paige-"
"Chloe, please. For me. Pretty please.", she begs.
"Okay! Okay!", I raise my hands in surrender. "We'll go."

Landon
"But baby, you promised me we'll go for lunch tomorrow.", my fiancée whines.
"Mia, I've told you that the benefactor meet was a sudden arrangement. We'll have lunch next week."
"But-"
"That's all, Mia.", I raise my hand to silence her. "I'm busy working."
"Okay, baby. I didn't mean to irritate you.", she hugs me from behind and attempts to take my suit off.
"Not right now, Mia. Go home."
"Or maybe I could go to your home.", she moves her hands across my chest.
"Mia, go to your home. You know I don't like repeating myself.", I take her hands off me.
"Fine!", she stomps out of the office.
Could my life be any more frustrating? I own a billion dollar company and yet I have to marry a rich asshole's daughter because reputation? Fuck my life.
Cherry on the cake is, she thinks I'm head over heels in love with her. The thought itself makes me laugh. Landon Tucker is not made for love. I fuck and leave. That's how I'm made.
"Hey bro..", Zachary enters my office.
Zachary is my best friend, the only person I've come to trust in life.
"Hey."
"So ready for the benefactor meet tomorrow?", did I mention he was a benefactor at UC too?
"Not one bit."
"Dude! Come on. It wouldn't be that boring."
"I hope not."
"Plus, I've heard they have some real hot chicks there.", he winks. "In fact, here are the pictures of the best ones.", he hands me his iPad.
"You searched for the hottest girls? Seriously?"
"What can I say?"
I scroll through the pictures and all of them look regular. Nothing with that spark. Until I land on this one particular blonde, with blue eyes who catches my eye right away.
"Who's this?", I ask Zachary.
"That would be Chloe Carson. Head cheerleader."
"So Ms. Head cheerleader it is then."
"She's a choosy chick. You'll have to play your cards right.", Zachary speaks.
"This is Landon Tucker you're talking to.", I say and forward the picture on my phone. "This should be fun."
