It was a quiet summer night in London when the encounter happened. The stars glimmered a little more brightly that night and the wind seemed to whisper familiar names, "Peter...Wendy." The smell in the air was that of fresh leaves, adventure, and need of a particular young girl. A boyish figure seemed to watch over a perfectly conspicuous home over a cloud. It was no other than the boy who would never grow up. For all children grow up, except one.

"Wendy?", Peter whispered quietly into her ear that made tingles go up and down her spine. "Wendy, I have come back for you.", Peter said looking at his Wendy. Her fair skin shone in the moonlight, her long eyelashes fluttering, her curled hair falling perfectly over her shoulders. Looking at her again made his heart feel strange. It almost felt like it could pop out of his chest at any moment, but he liked this feeling. His heart was also racing the closer and closer he got to her face. Suddenly, Wendy's eyes opened to see the strange boy flying over her bed. "Peter!", she screamed as she sprang up to hug him tightly. This startled Peter at first as he tensed up, but he relaxed after she held on for a moment. "Peter, I didn't know if you would come back for me. I thought you might have forgotten about me", she said releasing from their embrace. "Never. I would never forget.", he said smirking softly into her blue eyes. Wendy felt much the same way Peter did, her heart was heavy and racing. "Wendy, you've changed.", Peter said quietly as he looked over her. "Oh, Peter. It's only been a year since you've come.", Wendy said blushing and tucking her hair behind her ear. Peter didn't not like this change, but he didn't like it either. On one hand, Wendy was even more beautiful than he could ever imagine, and this made his heart burst even more. On the other hand, this could mean she was growing up. "Are you... growing up?", Peter asked wearily. "Yes, Peter. I have grown from last year, but not much.", she said with a soft smile. Peter just stared at her for a moment and then smiled softly, the same smile he gave her while they watched the fairies dancing in the hollow tree. He then sat down on her bed in front of her, crossing his legs and arms. "I suppose you didn't miss me much.", he asked kiddingly. "On the contrary.", she said with a giggle. They both looked at each other as it got quiet. "Peter, I have missed you very much. Even just waiting a year was torture.", Wendy said softly. Peter's heart dropped as he heard these words. His Wendy being tortured? "Oh, Wendy. I'm sorry. I should've come back sooner.", Peter said with sadness hidden in his eyes. "Peter, it's okay, really. All that matters is that you're here now.", Wendy said placing her delicate hand on top of his, which was resting on his knee. Peter looked down at their hands and then looked back up and smiled. He got that feeling again that he got the first time he met Wendy, whenever she would touch him. It was as if electricity was running through his hand to his heart. He felt his heart race faster and his stomach fill up with butterflies. It was the kind of feeling he wanted to last forever. "Come away with me, Wendy. Come away to Neverland.", Peter said tightening his grip on her hand. "Peter, I have forgotten how to fly. And besides, I can't have my parents go through the pain of losing me again.", she said worryingly. Peter's excited face turned into a solemn one. "We had fun, didn't we? Don't you want to come back with me?", Peter asked as his heart sank again. "I want to, Peter, so very much.", she said touching one of his curls. "Then why can't you come?", Peter asked getting frustrated. Wendy paused a moment. "Peter, I have an idea." Peter's face lightened as he smirked. "My parents and brothers are leaving for a long holiday in a day or so, and they won't be coming back for a few months. I suppose I can tell them I'll be staying at a friend's house and don't want to come.", Wendy said happily with a hint of worry. Peter moved closer to her. "Please, Wendy. Come back... with me.", Peter said urging. "Alright, I will.", she said kissing his cheek. A shiver of tingles rushed through his body. "Wendy, was that a thimble?", Peter asked knowing the answer. "Peter, I must tell you something. A thimble is actually called a kiss. I kissed you just now.", Wendy explained. "So, what we did on the pirate ship... was a kiss?", Peter asked confused. Wendy blushed from the thought. "Yes. I suppose I could give you another one now... If you'd like.", Wendy said getting closer to him. She sunk down into her bed so that she was lying down again. "Peter... lay on top of me.", she said quietly. Peter paused a moment and gulped. He slowly crawled over her body and held himself up by his elbows. "This is how you really kiss.", Wendy said. She leaned her head into his and kissed him softly. Her lips tracing his she held onto them for a few seconds. Her lips tasted like heaven as her soft lips touched his. Both of them felt as if they were flying, and Peter actually was! He was slightly hovering over Wendy from the feel of their kiss. Once she opened her eyes she gasped slightly and giggled. Peter gasped at himself as he looked down, unknowingly flying. He looked at Wendy laughing and giggled a little himself. "I'm not sure why that happens every time I... kiss you.", Peter said remembering the word Wendy taught him. "I feel like that too, Peter, except I just can't fly.", she said. Peter smirked and said, "Come with me, I'll show you how to fly again."
Wendy moved out of her bed as Peter started to fly out the nursery window. Wendy ran quickly behind him. "Tink isn't here with me, I told her to stay in Neverland. You know how she gets.", Peter said jokingly. Wendy giggled. "But, I always bring extra pixie dust with me.", Peter said giving his boyish grin. He took some of it out of the gathering of leaves near his waist and blew it on Wendy softly. She immediately started flying higher and higher. "Oh, the cleverness of you.", she said smiling. Peter smirked back. Wendy softly grabbed Peter's hands and placed them on her waist. She felt tingles and warmness as his hands touched her waist. She then wrapped her arms around his neck. "Peter, did you miss me?", she asked curiously. "...I did. I thought about you a lot while I was in Neverland. All I wanted was to see you again... and touch you again.", Peter said slightly moving his fingers on her waist. "Oh, Peter. I thought the same thing. There were many nights I cried because I wanted to see and touch you again." Wendy then leaned into Peter's lips again. This time it was much more passionate. Now keep in mind, Wendy and Peter had only kissed each other. Neither one of them had ever kissed anyone else, ever. Their first time passionately kissing was a bit awkward at times, but nonetheless, it was perfect. The longer they kissed, the more their hearts beat. Finally, Wendy moved back, leaving a huge smile on her face. "Peter, promise me you will come back in a few days after my family goes on holiday. You cannot leave me again.", Wendy said, her eyes rimmed with tears. "Wendy.", Peter said in a voice no woman has yet to resist. "Wendy, I will always come back." Wendy then flew down and felt her feet hit the ground. "I must go now, Peter, before my parents find me away from my bed.", Wendy said giving Peter one last peck on the lips. "I'll be back.", Peter said whispering and flew away to the stars.
