Monday

Harris has been with us about a month now. His injuries healed up nicely and Fall was going to start teaching him to play checkers. Being around 5, he was smart. We went to the park a lot and Snow brought Mindy and Klaws to come visit a lot.

I was sitting on the couch, like always, eating Shrimp flavored Ramen noodles. I lapped up the last of the juice when Fall came in. “Yo,” his quick brief greetings were getting old. Every day he came in, said ‘Yo’ and ran off to do something. We never hung out anymore.

I sighed and continued lapping at the juice with my eyes at the TV.  Harris came into the living room, “Hi,” he said to me softly.  I was getting tired of all these annoying short greetings!  I smiled and waved, “Hey Harris. What’s up?”  That was much better than their short greetings! He didn’t say anything though. Just took the remote from the coffee table and flipped it to Adventure Time.

I huffed, an annoyed breath and stood up silently. My claws were getting long; maybe I could go get unbored doing them. I shrugged and padded up the stairs quietly. Fall was in the office, talking to someone.  I knew I would have to break up with Fall one day, but I loved him too much. If he finds his mate soon, it’s really going to lay a hurt on me.

I opened my bedroom door, the scent of a wolf set me on alert. A she-wolf was in my room.

 Why?                                   I asked myself.

I don’t know.                     I replied harshly.

Find out.                              I mentally screamed.

I am. Geez.                         I hissed at my inner voice.

Hurry up then!                  I growled back at myself.

I was too busy talking myself to notice the she-wolf come behind me.  “Ahem,” she cleared her throat. I turned around and hissed, “Why were you in my room?” She laughed, “Your room? No, this belongs to our Alpha; I believe you and me haven’t met. I’m Sandra, call me Sam for short.”

I hissed, “Monday. Fall is my boyfriend, so don’t come in our room.”

She glared, “That prick. He is no good.”

A familiar voice came from behind her, “I hope for your sake you are not talking about my brother.” Snow growled at Sam.

Sam looked at her, then she sneered, “And you’re just a little puppy. What are you going to do?”

I stepped away from Sam, “Uh oh.”

Sam looked back at me, “What?” But she freaked when she looked back at Snow. Snow’s hair was a bright flame, her skin wasn’t tanned. It was red. She looked like a ball of flames. I stepped away and Fall came out, “Snow! Don’t burn Monday!” Then he looked at Sam, his bright eyes turned black and he growled.

“Get the hell out of my house, leave. Now,” His eyes stayed glued to her and he growled. Snow began to return to normal and Sam shook her head, “I can’t leave Fall,” her look turned to a pout. “You can’t just leave me like that. You never called. You act like nothing happened!” Her crying scream pierced the air.

Fall glared at her, “I told you, it is over. Do I need to spell it? O-V-E-R.” He looked at Snow, his eyes turning normal again. “Snow, please come in my office.” His voice was normal. He smiled at me and him and Snow disappeared behind the oak door.

Sam glared at me, “I am still part of this pack, and you aren’t. I will get him back.” Then she left.

Can someone say Momma Drama!? Who does she think she is? I went into my room and painted my nail. Then I was hungry and hopped down the stairs to go get some lunch. Don was watching TV so I patted his head when I walked by.  He laughed and flipped me off. I chuckled, “No thanks!” He laughed and I opened the fridge.

No fish! What!? They can’t have a cat and have no fish! I went and sat near Don, “Don, can you go get me some fish?” He stood up, “I’ll just get a lot of canned tuna and salmon and some shrimp.” Then he left, that quick.  I smiled and fell asleep on the couch, dreaming about fish.

So its short, but I hope you like it! :D
