chapter two

Naomi's P.O.V

It was still raining pretty hard as I ran in the direction of my house. I had just reached my house when a hand grabbed my arm. It felt like a million little bolts of electricity went through me when I turned to see the the stranger from the park bench. Out of the shadows I got a better look at him. He had dark-almost- black-but-still-considered brown hair, and ice blue eyes that weren't cold but not exactly friendly either. He had high cheek bones that gave off a rugged 'dont touch me, I'll brake you' look.

"Hey I'm sorry about chasing you, back at the park you seemed a little uneasy and then you iust ran off. Are you okay." He asked. I saw in his face thay he was very concerned and even though we were strangers it warmed my heart. I held. out my hand and replied.

Well I'm fine I just have to be somewhere tonight. My names Naomi Higurashi, its nice to meet you..." I trailed off.

"Oh yeah my name is Arcade. Its nice to meet you Naomi." He said shaking my hand.

Arcade P.O.V

What did she mean she had somewhere to be? Was she in a relationship? I couldn't help but get angry at my last thought. Did she ever think to wait for her mate. I meam she knew she would have to drop all her ties to boys when she met me. Then I thought back to all the girls I had been with. Did that give her the right to be with someone else.

Well I guess I'll see you around then." I said and turned around. As soon as I was out of sight I started paniking. She could reject me if she was seeing someone else. I slowly let this sink in before I decided to make a plan. Surely I could get her to notice me. I smiled and walked back to the gas station we had run past.
