THREE YEARS LATER
" Mommy.. Zori said he'll be bwack. He's going to the barba shop." Miyah says walking into my room " Okay Mi. Soo what do you want to do today?" I ask her, while picking her up. " Wellll I wanna go to the mall." Yes my daughter is already a fashionista. " Okay sounds good. Go put on your shoes."

" Mommy.. Why is a lot of pweople here?" " I don't know baby. But where do you want to go first?" " Mcshwalls!" " You mean McCalls?" McCalls is her favorite clothing store.
They sell all the name brand clothes for kids. We walk into the store and she starts going crazy. She grabs everything she likes and hand them to me. Of course she's spoiled.. She tells me she's done and we walk over to the register. She got about 12 outfits and lots of jewelry. She decided that she wanted some new J's, so we headed to foot locker. " As soon as we walked into the store, my phone started to ring. "Mommy I'm going to look at the shoes while you talk on the phwone k?" " okay baby."
" Hello?" " Hey Kay. What you doing?" " Out shopping with Miya." " Oh true. I just got done getting my hair cut so I'm guessing i'll go back home and wait for you two to come back. See you when you get here. Love you baby." " Okay. Love you to Zor." *CLICK*
" Hey baby. Find any?" I ask Mi. " Yes. Those two right there. I'll go ask the lady for your size. Stay here and don't move." I say before walking over to the worker. " Hey.. Do you have these in a size 3?" I ask her. " Yes we should. I'll be right back." She says before heading to the back of the store.
" Ma'Kayla?" I hear someone say behind me. You wouldn't guess who... " Oh Trey... What 'brings you back in town'?" I ask. He did kinda look different. In a good way. He still was sexy, but I hated him for leaving me. " I've missed him." " Oh okay." " Miss.. Here you go. They're both a size three." The lady says handing me the shoes. " Okay. Thank you so much." I say before walking off, leaving Trey in the same spot.
Why would he all of sudden show up? Oh well. Miya tried on her shoes and then we walked to the cash register so I could pay for them. Trey was waiting for me there. " Mommy who is this?" Miya asks shyly. " Ta'Miya this is your daddy Trey." Trey looks shocked. " Hello Miya. You are soo beautiful ." He says hugging her. " Hi." She said nervously.
TREY'S P.O.V.
When I saw Ma'Kayla and Ta'Miya up in footlocker I couldn't believe it. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that I left Kayla pregnant and I didn't even tell her I was leaving. Ta'Miyah was just so beautiful . I can't believe she's MY daughter. She's the cutest little child I've ever seen. " Hi." She says nervously. " You know we should hang out sometime. Maybe go to the park or something." I say bending down. " I like the park." She says smiling. "Me too. How about we go tomorrow? If that's okay with your mom." I look up at Kayla, to see her frustrated. I know she's still mad. I mean I was her fist everything. She trusted me. I told her i'll be there for her no matter what.
I fucked up, big time.
I payed for Miya's shoes, and they left. Kayla gave me her number and told me she'll meet me at the park to drop off Miya. I can't believe I've missed three years of her life.
It's time for me to step my game up. Be the father that should've been here from the start.
