ONE WEEK LATER ( KAYLA'S P.O.V. )
Trey and Miya have been spending everyday together for the past week. She really loves him. Every time she sees him her face lights up. I think Zori's getting jealous. He's use to be the father figure in Miya's life.
PHONE CALL ( KAYLA & TREY )
T: Hey Kay.
K: Hey. Wassup?
T: Nothing. I was just callin to talk to you.
K: Okay... Well talk !
T: Well.. Um... Can we meet?
K: Why can't we just talk over the phone?
T: Cause I don't want too.
K: Well ..............
T: Ten minutes. Sweet Frog. Be there.
K: (sigh) Okay . Bye!
TEN MINUTES AFTER (KAYLA'S P.O.V)
I left exactly 10 minutes after the phone call. I wonder what he wants to talk about.
When I arrive at Sweet Frog, I notice an empty parking space beside Trey's car. I park and walk into Sweet Frog and sit across from Trey. I notice he ordered my favv Vanilla ice cream with snickers and m&m's. " Hey Kay." he says with a smirk. " Hey....." I say back. I'm still mad at the fact that he got me pregnant and then left without letting anyone know. " Where's Miya?" " At my moms." " Oh how is Mama Em been doing?" " She's doing okay. She stopped all the shit she use to do. She went to rehab the first three months of my pregnancy. She's a totally new person. " " Aw. That's good." " Yeah... Soo , what did you want to talk to me about?"
He needs to get to the point. " Oh yeah. Umm who's this Zori guy?" Oh, so Miya must of told him about him. " Zorian is my boyfriend. We've been going out since you left. He's been there for me. Through everything." I say smiling at the fact that Zori's been here for me through every single thing. " Soo you moved on that easily?" I can see him getting mad now. I like it! " I had no choice. I was tired of being depressed." " Depressed? You should of been happy I left!" TF? Is he stupid? I think so ! " Happy? You were my boyfriend. I loved you. I lost my virginity to you. Also got pregnant that day. I was 16.." I'm beyond pissed right now. " Im sorry for that. I don't really know what to say to make you forgive me." " Trey I been forgave you. I forgave you because I knew you were just stupid in the head to leave a 16 year old to raise a baby by herself." " Im not stupid, so chill." I just sit there staring at him. Like is he really that dumb. " So tell me why you let another nigga around my daughter?" " Zorian has been here for the both of us. He filled in your spot. He's been great to us. And I don't really care if you have a problem with that!" " You don't? I just don't understand you." " Don't understand me? I can't understand you! Really Trey there's nothing more for us to talk about. You said you'll be there no matter what but then you just disappear when you find out I was pregnant... By YOU! How could you do that to me? Better yet how could you leave without tellin Rajaa?" " I didn't want anyone to know. I wanted to leave without people tryna change my mind. I was scared Kay. I was scared that I would hurt you." " Well guess what.. You did hurt me!" " I know. And I'm so sorry. I just didn't want to be in the way. I just felt like I wasn't prepared to be a dad." " You weren't prepared? I wasn't either! You was 18 .. I was 16. You know what... It's okay. I'm done talking about this."
With that, I got up and left. He tried to stop me but I pushed him away, and ran to my car.
