~Chapter Seven~

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

Wow, school was so much harder than I remembered it to be. As InuYasha, Kagome, Sesshomaru, and I were walking home, Yuka, Ayumi, and Eri came up to us. "Hey, would it be okay if we come over?" "I don't see why not." "Yay!" So, now, the seven of us are heading back to Kagome's place. On the walk, Yuka, Ayumi, and Eri asked about InuYasha, Sesshomaru, and I answered their questions as vague as possible. Well, InuYasha and I answered their questions. Sesshomaru stayed quiet the entire time. Wonder why...

After arriving, we took off our shoes. At the door, we were met by Kagome's mom. "Hello, how was school." "It was good." "Glad to hear. Just to let you know, Kagome, your friends have to leave by seven." "Thanks mom." The seven of us headed upstairs. Though, Sesshomaru left us, by going into his room. "Where's he going?" Eri asked. Oh dear, we can't let them know that we're living here with Kagome! "Um....He's going to go play with Sōta." "Aw, that's so sweet!" "Not really...." I could hear InuYasha mutter under his breath.

"So, what shall we do?" "I want to learn more about your bad boy." I rolled my eyes. How exactly did Kagome get her friends to believe that InuYasha's a bad boy? "Well...We're doing okay." "Just okay?" "Did something happen?" "Tell us everything!" InuYasha was starting to lose his patience. I bet it's because he has to pretend to like Kagome.

I sighed. "How about we just watch some TV? You know, some people like to keep their relationship problems a secret. I get it, you're trying to be good friends. But, the difference between a good friend, and a great friend is knowing when to stop!" Kagome's three friends looked shocked, at my outburst.

"Wow, I don't remember you having such a short temper. You sure have changed." "Not in a bad way." "But, I guess she's right. We should know when to stop. Sure, I guess we can watch some TV." I sighed in relief, as the six of us went to go watch TV.

Finally, they're all gone. Even during dinner, Sesshomaru didn't show up. I hope he didn't run off. "Hey, guys. I think I'm going to go check in on Sesshomaru." "Why?" "Yeah, why?" "I'm just going to make sure he didn't run off." "Sesshomaru may be an idiot, but, he's no completely stupid. He wouldn't do anything like that." "Well, I'll check anyway." "Want me to come with you?" "InuYasha, I'm a half-dog-demon, who wields a hammer, that hosts a goddess. I think I can take care of myself." "I'm not saying that. I'm just...." "Uh-huh. Don't worry, I'll be fine." I then headed upstairs, to Sesshomaru's room.
