[Note]: Hey y'all new JB story, but a little background in case you wanna know (if you don't then just start reading lol). If you follow the Bulls, you know there's been a lot of drama going on the last couple days and that's what kinda inspired me to write this story. So, long story short: Bulls had a horrible loss the other night and after the game Jimmy and Wade called out the whole team to the media (especially the younger players) for not caring enough and not playing hard enough. Wade subtweeted about it later on twitter and Rondo posted a long shot back at Wade and Jimmy on Instagram (go check it out for the full caption) about how good leadership doesn't call out their young players, so that's basically it for the moment, and now we just wait to see what's going to explode next. So hopefully that clears a little of this story up.

Alinea sighed to herself as she walked down the street. She took the train to work, and she wasn't ashamed of that – she was now the assistant to the chairman for the Chicago Bulls and that meant assistant to the President, not too shabby for a girl from the south side. Shoving her hands deeper in her pockets she rounded the corner to the parking lot where she saw a few of the players pulling in. Securing her headphones once more in her ears, she made a beeline for the door.

She knew that tensions were going to be high today – a lot of shit went down. Everyone was taking shots at each other, no one was respecting others, it was a mess. And that's why she was there, to help clean it all up. That's why she had to come in for their shoot around this morning, for a damn meeting.

Alinea was so lost in her music she didn't notice Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler walking in together. They were whispering to each other when Alinea accidentally brushed her arm against Jimmy's.

"Oh, shit sorry." She said, creating distance between them.

"Whatever." Jimmy mumbled back giving her a quick annoyed glance before continuing back to his conversation with Wade.

"Okay then." Alinea whispered to herself as she finally got through the doors.

It was going to be a long day.

"Alinea." The owner of the Bulls said as she situated herself in her office.

"Yeah." She answered, looking up.

"Five minutes." He nodded to her.

"You got it." She nodded.

"That's why we're here." The general manager interrupted. It was a full meeting: The President of the Bulls, the General Manager, Coach Hoiberg, Jimmy, Dwyane and Rajon.

"Look, the comments from all of you were out of line." The President, Jerry Reinsdorf, began. Referring to Wade and Jimmy's comments bashing the team and Rondo's response.

"I'm glad I said what I said." Dwyane crossed his arms, "And I think I can say the same for Jimmy."

Suddenly the door opened, interrupting everyone's thoughts as Alinea tried to quietly make her entrance.

"Ah, Alinea, good." Mr. Reinsdorf said, moving some stuff out of the way so she could sit next to him. She simply nodded and set up her computer to take notes on the remainder of the meeting. The whole reason she was there was to see if she could give any helpful input, she doubted that would happen with this bunch.

Rajon Rondo looked up at her and gave her a weak smile as she tried to smile back nicely, she was only familiar with a few players and he was one of them. But, she needed to seem impartial – she was. She wasn't on anyone's side.

"Whatever," Jimmy spoke, "I agree with Wade." He nodded, with a shrug, "It needed to be said."

"I think it didn't." Rajon interjected, "It's poor leadership to push blame on all those younger guys." He continued, "They work their asses off, and because you didn't get the last shot of the game you gonna be mad?"
