"Nosey?" He asked, playing dumb, "About what?""Taj," Wade said, "I know you don't like Alinea, but just let him be."
"I didn't say anything." Jimmy shrugged.
"Let it go, man." Wade nodded, walking away from his friend.
"Whatever..." Jimmy trailed off.
----------
Taj and Alinea had been dating for around a month, and so far things were going fine. Sort of how Alinea expected, Taj was a really nice guy. But, she was getting antsy to get some action, this entire time they've barley fooled around.
"It's getting late," Alinea observed, looking at the time, "I should go." She whispered, looking up at Taj from his shoulder
"Stay." He nodded, bringing his eyes to her.
"You're sure?" Alinea asked him in surprise.
"Yeah." He nodded, "Please." He pleaded, giving puppy dog eyes, "I'll miss you if you go." He said sweetly, making her heart melt.
It was something she wasn't used to - having a boyfriend (or just a guy in general) who cared about her for more than just sex.
"You're so adorable." She grinned into his shoulder, bringing her face up closer to his.
Taj bit his lip gently, as his eyes flickered between her own and her lips. Slowly, Alinea brought her hands up to softly rest on his shoulders as he closed the gap between their lips. After a few minutes, he brought his tongue into her mouth as she let out a soft moan as his hands fell to her hips.
Without a second thought, Alinea brought her hands down his chest and tugged at the bottom of his shirt. Automatically, Taj lifted the material over his head, disconnecting their lips for only a second as it was now his turn to tug at hers. She just smiled into their kiss slightly, as she brought her shirt over her own head, retracting her lips to catch a breath.
Taj took the opportunity to bring his lips to her chest and Alinea just held in the moan that was threatening to escape her mouth, so she occupied herself by bringing her hands down to try and unbuckle his belt.
"Wait-" He began, stopping them, bringing his face back to look at her, "You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah." She smiled, biting her lip slightly, "Are you?" She laughed, as he just nodded and she continued her task of getting his pants off.
He returned the gesture by unbuttoning her jeans and tugging them down her thighs. She giggled slightly at his aggression, and stood up slightly to get them fully off.
"What's this?" He questioned, with a devilish grin, pulling her panties back gently to reveal her tattoo, that silly silhouette of a small dog.
"Tattoo." She whispered, with a shrug.
"That's cute." He wiggled his eyebrows.
"You like that?" She continued to laugh, fully pulling his pants, "Then you'll like this."
----------
"Yeah and?" Jimmy asked, Dwyane Wade, as the two were warming up for practice together.
"Ayyye." Dwyane ignored him, seeing Alinea and Taj walk in, "She wearing the same thing she wore yesterday?" He asked with a grin, as Taj gave Alinea a soft, sweet kiss goodbye as she made her way to her office, giving the two players a slight wave on her way.
"Um, no I don't..." Jimmy trailed off, getting this weird feeling.
"My man!" Dwyane wiggled his eyebrows as Taj approached.
"Wassup fellas?" Taj asked, as the two other's approached him as he sat to get his shoes on.
"So," Wade followed up, "I see Alinea wearing the same thing she wore yesterday?"
"Hmm," Taj let out, "I don't know." He shrugged, holding back a small grin.
"Well?" He persisted, as Jimmy just stood there.
"What?" Taj asked nonchalantly, getting up.
"Y'all finally did it." Wade laughed.
"I ain't gonna say anything." Taj shrugged, passing the ball to Jimmy.
"Oh?" Jimmy asked, trying to get involved in the conversation so he wouldn't have to hear it from Wade anymore.
The rest of the practice went on like this, Wade continuing to press Taj for details, Taj not giving in and Jimmy not knowing what to say.
"I gotta go soon man," Wade informed, "Gimme something." He laughed.
"Seriously, man?" Taj asked, sipping his water, "Fine."
"Alright!" He proclaimed, as Jimmy just shook his head.
"She has a tattoo," Taj hinted, as Jimmy stared ahead, "On her hip, real small. It's cute."
"Davis? A tattoo?" Wade asked, unconvinced, "The hell is it of?" He inquired.
"A dog." Jimmy and Taj said at the same time. Jimmy's eyes widened and he wanted to slap himself for letting that slip.
"How do you know?" Wade asked, turning towards him.
"Yeah?" Taj backed up, confusion clouding his face, "How the hell do you know?"
"Uh, um," Jimmy stalled, trying to think of what to say, "I think she brought it up once, when I uh...had to sign some stuff for her." He settled for.
"Huh," Wade shrugged, "That's crazy, man." He shook his head, patting Taj on the back, "Well I'm outta here, see y'all tomorrow." He nodded, looking at Jimmy, "And I'll see you later tonight."
"Yeah." Jimmy nodded, as Taj just sat there looking at him with hurt and confusion. Suddenly he grabbed his bag and started heading off, "Taj!" He called, hoping he hadn't gotten the wrong idea...or the right idea in this case.
Taj didn't listen as he just continued off to the locker room. Jimmy just shrugged to himself, packing up his stuff and getting ready to head home - hoping he hadn't messed up.
----------
"Alinea, I need to talk to you." She heard that sweet voice call from the doorway of her office.
"Hey, baby, what's up?" She asked, looking up to see a clearly upset Taj standing at her door, "What's wrong?" She questioned with worry, as he made his way inside and sat across from her.
"I'm gonna ask you something, and I need you to tell me the truth." He nodded, avoiding her eyes again.
"Okay..." She trailed off, getting a weird feeling about all of this.
"Did you have a thing with Jimmy?"
