Alinea had never been happier to see Jerry than when he came to the game that Saturday night.
"Thank god you're back." She smiled, as he sat down next to her, "It's been a tough week." She nodded.
"You did fine." He smiled, "I know it's some bullshit sometimes. But you did good." He said, looking out to the court seeing it was only a few minutes until tipoff.
"I tried." She shook her head, as her eyes were glued to the jumbotron.
"No one gave you any problems, I hope?" He asked.
"Nah," She shook her head, "I mean a little, but it all worked out."
"Well thanks again," He nodded to her, "You're the best."
"I know." She shrugged jokingly as Jerry just rolled his eyes.
"You kids..." He trailed off as the countdown clock ran out of time and tipoff came around.
The game went by a lot faster than Alinea expected. She was trying to keep conversation with Jerry but she was so unfocused – the way Jimmy looked all focused. It was kinda hot.
"Alinea?" Jerry asked.
"Sorry, what?" She questioned, as the game ended.
"I'll see you Monday." He laughed, giving her a gentle pat on the back.
Alinea just nodded, as she rushed down to the locker room hoping to catch Jimmy on his way out.
"Alinea, wassup?" Taj asked, spotting her.
"Hey, man." She smiled, "You were good out there." She complimented.
"Ah, thanks." He nodded, noticing her eyes were glued to the door. "You waitin on someone?"
"Just Jimmy." She rolled her eyes with a sigh, "He needs to sign a few things for me." She lied, giving an annoyed look.
"Oh," Taj nodded, trying to think what else to say. He didn't know why he always got so tongue tied around her, "I uh," He began, as she looked up at him.
"What's up with you?" She giggled, putting her hand on his shoulder, noticing his nerves.
"Nothing, I just-" He began, as he noticed Jimmy walking out of the locker room, "Jimmy, uh, Alinea needs you."
"Oh, she does?" Jimmy smirked, with a laugh looking between the two.
"Oh, shit no I meant like-" Taj shook his head.
"It's fine, T." Alinea laughed, "Have a good weekend, I'll see you Monday." She smiled, as Taj nodded and walked off giving Jimmy a final pat on the back.
"So you need me, huh?" Jimmy alleged, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Okay, don't kill it." She rolled her eyes.
"Come over." He whispered. "I just have to change and-"
"No," She shook her head, trying her best to keep her hands to herself, "Wear this." She bit her lip, referring to his uniform as he just gave her a smirk.
"Really?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Like I said," She said, turning on her heel, "Don't kill it."
----------
"Took you long enough." Jimmy rolled his eyes as Alinea finally showed up.
"Shut up." She shook her head as he let her in. As usual, no time was spent talking about the day as they began putting their lips all over each other's bodies. Jimmy brought Alinea up to sit on his kitchen counter as his hands rested on her thighs.
