As I knock I hear a click. I look down at the knob and try to turn it. Jocelyn locked the door. I stop knocking and find a paperclip to unlocked the door with.

I step away from Jocelyn's room and head over to mine. I open the door and go over to my desk drawer where I usually leave useless stuff. The drawer opens and I decide to use my powers like the lazy person I am.

My hand moves over the top of the items and I raise my hand slowly upwards then towards me. Everything comes out in a spread-out circular formation. I look and search at least one paperclip.

Notepad, pens, pencils, erasers, crumpled paper, push pins, old movie tickets, and then there, the paper clips floating around the outer layer of the "sphere of objects".

I grab one paperclip with the hand I wasn't using and put everything back into the drawer. I run back to Jocelyn's room and insert the paperclip in the little hole in the knob, to unlock the door.

I guess Jocelyn heard the taps of the paperclip hitting the knob because she stopped with her voice. "Don't. Even. Try." I'm pretty sure she doesn't know exactly who it is trying to break in her room.

"C'mon Jocelyn, can I just talk with you?" I plead. "Why do you even care?" She sniffs. "Because friends are suppose to care."

Silence.

Footsteps make the floor creak behind the door and it opens. Standing infront of me a young girl with eyes wet with tears. "Even if I wanted to tell you what's wrong, I wouldn't be able too. I just don't want you to worry about me." She looks down at her feet.

"Why? Is that bad?" I lift her chin and help wipe off her cheeks that had a few streams of tears. "Can you just please leave me alone?" She moves my hand away and turns around. I grab her wrist and pin her againest the hallway wall.

"I left you alone for too long Jocelyn. You have to at least tell me what's going on." I look straight into her brown eyes. "I can't I don't-" I stop her. "I promise I won't tell anyone else, alright? Just a secret you and I know."

{Jocelyn's POV}

He was keeping me inbetween his arms. Each arm on one side of my body to keep me from escaping his presence. "I promise I won't tell anyone, alright? Just a secret only you and I know."

Sure. Only him and I. Ava knows my secret about being next in line to become evil. I'm not sure this is true because its just predicted. My family history isn't very good by the looks of it.

My great grandfather chose to be evil. Then, my grandmother was chosen to follow evil. After that My mother's sister was evil, who was the mother of Ava which you know was evil as well. My mother was the last one to turn evil.

Many families expect me to then as well. Not only because of my family history, but because of the strength of my powers keep growing. My father wasnt like any regular person with abilities like these. He was basically stronger than anyone else. No one could beat him in a battle.

So, since I'm the only child of him people say the strength will be passed down to me. The one and only child of Felix Hearth.

"Hello?" Mitch was waving his hand infront of my face snapping me backto reality. "Are you gonna tell me what's up?" He stood there with a serious face staring straight into my eyes.

I took over his shoulders to see if anyone was around. I push Mitch's chest and move him into my room. I turn around and close the door with just one wave of my hand.

"You want to know what's wrong, right?" I make Mitch sit on the chair. I place each hand on the armrests and look straight into his eyes, like he did to me. "Yeah, I just said that." I try to stay relaxed as I tell him.

"Alright," I start. "I-" I was interrupted by the door bursting open. I quickly turn and see a familiar figure. Broad shoulder, skinny, black hair, and a soft blue eye color shimmering in its eyes.

It couldn't possibly be- but how on earth did he find me. Ava. I'm a fool for forgetting she knew why I was specifically here.

I'm not the only one who was powerful. One more person was my partner in crime. I need to help him realize what the best choice is. I don't want anyone who's powerful being part of any evil.

But now there's another problem that just stands outside my door.

{Pretty short I know. I didn't want to give out who the people are that Jocelyn's talking about in the end. That wouldn't give us a nice stopping place, now would it? lol CLIFFHANGER DUN DUN DUN. Sorry for any mistakes! PEACESKIES}
