{Jocelyn's POV}

After finishing dinner, I go back to my room and go to my bed. I sit upright and hug my legs, then rest my head on my knees. "I hate life." I say quietly. A tiny knock fills my mind. I search my room to see where it was coming from. The window. Who would be at my window in the middle of the night? I narrow my eyes at the window and prepare to defend myself. My heart skips a beat when I find Mitch trying to steady himself on a pillar of dirt.

I relax myself and sigh in relief. I move toward the window and open the window. "Hi." He says with a short wave and smile. I wave back and and help him inside. "What are you doing here?" Mitch hops onto the edge of my bed and smiles. "Just-" I put my finger infront of my mouth to signal him to quiet down. "Just trying to get my girlfriend back." I smile. "Thanks, but my dad will probably know that I returned to you guys."

"Then we gotta be sneaky sneaky." Mitch smirks then locks the door after placing a chair below the knob. "You know my dad has powerful, well, powers so he could easily burst the door open. You know that right?" He just shrugs. "Anything to stall him, right?" I don't answer. I'm too busy thinking of other ways to distract my father.

"I could give my father the illusion that I'm still here." Mitch arches an eyebrow then moves closer to me. "How?" I stare at the knob, then back at Mitch. "Have I ever told you I can do more than just move things?" He shakes his head. I move over to the door knob and gently touch it. It glows and glistens as if the sun is shining upon it.

"Everytime he touches the knob my dad will think he heard me say "go away" or "leave me alone" or nothing at all. Hopefully, he'll stop trying and leave me alone." Mitch smiles. "Smart." I could feel me blush. "Hey guys! Hurry up!" That was definitly Jason. Popping my head out I the window into the dark night, I yell softly at Jason. "You're lucky my dad's asleep!"

Mitch stands next to me then dangles his legs on the edge of the window. His hand rises and is followed by a pillar of soil with a wide enough surface to fit the both of us, that is, if we are hugging or something. Mitch jumps onto the pillar and balances himself before giving me a hand. I grab it then hold onto him, basically hugging. I look down and rest my head against Mitch's chest. Have I ever told you I have a fear of heights?

As we move down, I hear a crack and before I knew it, a piece of the dirt below me falls and I am separted from Mitch. I scream, but quickly shut my mouth. "Jocelyn!" Mitch tries to grab me, but I'm too far. "Woah," I stumble into Jason's arms and he holds me bridal style. "That was close." I smile and he helps me stand. Mitch finally makes it down. He goes up to me and hugs me tight.

"I was worried you were going to get hurt again! Thank god you're okay." After we part, Jason pats my back. "C'mon Jerome's waiting in the car." I nod and Jason, Mitch, and I run over to the car parked on the other side of the road. Jerome unlocks the doors and lets us in.

"I saw you tumble down, Jocelyn. Honestly, that was funny, but I was worried." Jerome turns to Jason, who sits in the backseat with me. "Nice catch, Jason buddy." "Thanks." Mitch climbs into the passenger seat, then speaks after he shuts his door. "Lets go before Jocelyn's dad wakes up." He pats Jerome's shoulder signaling to go. Jerome turns the engine on and he presses down on the acceleration pedal.

I look outside my window and gaze at the stars and shining moon above. I never realized how beautiful the night can be. Someone leans against me and whispers in my ear. "I never realized how beautiful you really are watching it." Heat rushes to my cheeks and I'm pretty sure I'm blushing. I turn and find Jason so close to my face, that if I move any closer our lips would touch. I can't help but smile.

{Jason's POV}

Faint snores come from Mitch who fell asleep about 15-20 minutes ago. Jerome was still driving. In a few more minutes, we would back home with Adam, Ian, and Quetin.

I look over to my left and see Jocelyn gazing up at the sky. She smiles and whispers something loud enough for me to listen to. "I never realized how beautiful the night can be." I lean over her shoulder and whisper softly into her right ear. "I never realized how beautiful you really are watching it." Her smile fades a bit, then she turns to me.

We're so close. I wonder if she's thinking the same thing. She smiles at me and examines my eyes, while I do the same with hers. They're so beautiful. Especially, with the light of the moon shining onto them. I move my eyes down to her lips. They were still curled up into a slight smile.

"Are you too done flirting mentally?" Jerome chuckles. He was watching us the whole time? Then, I realized that we are already home parked outside the garage. I move away from Jocelyn, who I find blushing. "Biggums, wake up." Jerome shakes Mitch and he moans.

When Mitch finally gets up, everyone exits the car and walk over to the main entrance. Before I could move any further I look at the side window where Adam was standing. He nods to signal they're ready, so I return the nod. Jerome stands at the door and places his hand on the knob. "Okay," he stares at me for a moment before continuing. I nod and he continues. "You have to close your eyes, Jocelyn." She doesn't question it and places her palms over her eyes. "Get ready for the best thing that's ever happened to you!" He yells in sync with Mitch as they both push down on the door knob and reveal the surprise.
