Skylar's POV

It's been 4 years. 4 very long years since I have talked to Liam James Payne.

A lot of things can happen in that timespan. And a lot of memories can resurface. Especially the ones that you don't want to.

One memory sticks in my brain and just can't seem to go away. The one that messed up my life.

Flashback

It was the day after Liam told me that he was going to audition for XFactor again.

I encouraged it of course. "If Simon Cowell said to come beck in two years, then you  WILL DO it."

haha, He finally agreed. I thought as I walked out of my flat. I crossed the street and headed down the block, toward Liam's flat.

Finally I reached it to find Liam waiting for me.

"Hey! The turtle came out today!" he teased.

"Shut it Payne." I growled playfully.

"Fine."

I hadn't been out in like forever just to hang with Liam because of all the schoolwork.

"So....why did you come out here exactly..? I thought you had a lot of work to do?"

"Ummm.....well.....I COULDN'T stand being in that house anymore! It's like a prison!"

He chuckled. "I figured, Sky."

"So...waddya wanna do?" I asked him expectantly. He always came up with the best places to go in short notice situations like this.

"Umm.....how about go to the park?"

"Sure!" I didn't have any complaints on that. I needed the fresh air.

We took the shortcut to the park, cutting through several alleys to get there.

Then, we found a comfy bench to sit down on and talk.

"So how's your mum?" I immediately asked. I don't know why, but I always asked him that question.

"Good." he replied his usual response.

"Yours?"

"Good." I replied.

"You hungry Sky?"

"YESSSSSSSS."

We both started laughing, and got up and walked to Nandos. Good thing Payne had some cash on him at all times.

We sat down at the closest booth and took a look at the menus (well really only Liam, because I already knew what I wanted- Perri Perri Chicken).  Finally a waitress came by and we ordered my favorite (after lots of comvincing I got Liam to get Perri Perri Chicken)- Perri Perri Chicken. She left.

And we waited.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited.

For the food to come.

FINALLY she decided to show up with the food. The smell was just luscious.
