Chapter Status: Edited.

She is gone. It is as though the whole town seems to change the moment she left. It is colder than usual, stronger winds with dark grey clouds above them. The night seems incredibly darker, with hardly any stars and a smaller moon. Anna hardly speaks. rarely eats, her eyes always bloodshot. Nic is the only one she will speak too.

Henry stays with Emma and Killian, he speaks even fewer words than Anna, but eats slightly more. Chloe tries to call Caleb, but he never answers, June is locked in her room. She has no idea what she is more devastated about, her mother's death or Tahlia turning bad, both seeming just as bad as each other. If Tahlia were there everything would be better, June is sure of that, she needs her big sister, but she has been missing nearly a week now.

Daniel decides they will not have his wife's funeral until Tahlia is better, or at least until 3 weeks have passed. Sandy and Chloe are seeing each other every day, along with Matt and Aaron. Ryder is staying with Aaron and Matt, the four of them are the only ones who feel some sort of pity for him. He did not ask for this to happen, his darkness was a curse, a curse of which Tahlia has broken, but in turn has cast upon herself.

And now, Tahlia is her biggest fear, darkness. Everyone is aware of the darkness that resides in her, everyone has a dark side, it even says so on her bedroom wall. But when you have magic, the dark side of yourself can be so unpredictable, even a little bit of this side coming out can be devastating.

"Tahlia's dark side would have come out when Ryder's came in, which can only mean..." Chloe hesitates, not wanting to say anything.

"Tahlia is being controlled by my dark magic as well as hers," Ryder says, frowning in guilt.

He has never felt so guilty of anything in his life, and he knows nothing else will ever make him feel slightly as upset as he feels now.

"We need to get everyone together, that's the only way we're going to save her," Sandy says confidently.

"We all know how powerful she is, with double as much darkness as she had, lord knows how much time we have left," Aaron adds.

"And it's all my fault," Ryder slouches into his chair.

"Ryder, you're the oldest, the most experienced, we need you to help us," Sandy practically begs.

Ryder pauses, confusion on his face as he thinks of what to do, he then nods and stands up, seeming more confident.

"Sandy's right, we need to get everyone together, the more people we have, the better the chance we have of saving her," he agrees.

"How are we going to get everyone together? Caleb, June, Anna, and Henry won't talk to anyone," Matt points out.

"We talk to Daniel, he'll for sure get them to talk to us, and I'll talk to Nic, he'll convince Anna," Chloe decides.

"I'll talk to Henry, and if not Henry then Emma or Killian or maybe even Mary Margaret. Once they realise Tahlia needs them they'll come running, I'm sure of it," Sandy says strongly.

"Matt, you come with me, Aaron, you go with Sandy," Chloe turns to look at Ryder, "you go speak to your father."

Ryder's face turns pale as quicky shaking his head, "no, I can't, he hates me," Ryder replies simply.

Sandy sighs, "he doesn't blame you for what happened, it was the darkness, and one of these days they will all forgive you. It takes time Ryder, now go, text us when you're done, we'll meet you there as soon as possible."
