"So, what's the plan?" Aaron asks

Tahlia shuts the attic door behind her before they both jog up the stairs, Tahlia waving her hand so all the doors and windows in the room shut and lock. She cannot afford Ryder somehow listening in, or watching them. Chloe and Caleb look up from the book, a cauldron, of sorts, sitting in front of them.

"I can't say, not with them here," Tahlia responds.

She looks at the pair that sit strangely close to one another, Caleb and Chloe exchange a confused expression before looking back at Tahlia.

"Do you want us to leave?" Chloe asks uncertainly.

Tahlia immediately shakes her head. She then moves forward, sitting in front of them, on the opposite side of the cauldron, and Aaron, confused, sits beside her.

"How close are you to finishing the potion?" she asks.

Chloe sits up straight, "we're basically finished, I just need you to do some spell thing, Caleb was going to do it, but you're more powerful," she says.

Caleb nods in agreement. But Tahlia notices the slightly hurt look in his eyes, and she thinks back to what Ryder had said.

"I know you love her, but there is a lot of resentment."

And Ryder was right, Tahlia does get all the attention, but she believes in her little brother, and her sister, of course, she knows they are strong, powerful, brave. Everything everyone thinks she is, but she knows otherwise, and an idea comes to mind.

"No, how about Caleb and I do the spell together?" she suggests.

She knows that Chloe is right, because of her destiny and all the practice she has gotten, her magic is much more advanced than Caleb's. But she knows Caleb's magic is powerful, perhaps even more powerful than Sandy's, and Sandy's magic has gotten extremely good this past year.

"That could work, frankly the more magic we add the better," Chloe smiles at her suggestion.

It is then that Tahlia realises that Chloe too believes in not just his magic, but Caleb himself.

Caleb seems to blush, "I mean, I don't know, maybe you're better off doing it yourself," he scratches the back of his neck.

"No, you do this with me or I don't do it all," Tahlia replies stubbornly.

"And we need this potion, there are some things we need to tell you that he can't know," Aaron adds.

Chloe and Caleb exchanged yet another glance, something they have often been doing.

"Okay."

He seems happy with the outcome as he nods, he then looks at Chloe.

"What do we do?"

Chloe flips over to the next page, "you need to repeat something whilst putting your hands in the potion, but I can't read what you're supposed to say," she admits. "Powerful witches and warlocks often knew strange languages to hide their spells."

"Let me look," Tahlia says softly.

Chloe passes her the open book, Tahlia reads through it briefly, and, for some strange reason, she understands it completely, as though she has always known it.

"It says 'Olga Jway Mari Tati,' it means 'I command'," Tahlia reads.

"We better hurry while I still remember it," Caleb chuckles.
