"So I've been thinking about what we should do about our lack of rooms" Mom said putting the butter in the fridge. And continuing to clean off the table.
"And" I pressed.
"You have two choices, I've been getting Rob to help me work on the basement with me and I must say it look very nice it's got a walk-in closet just like yours and we also got the bathroom down there all fixed up so you'll have your own bathroom, the room and stuff needs to be painted but I thought that I'd let you and Jess to that this weekend If you want." She paused to look at me. I nodded.
"Or" she continued "You can keep your room and give Ashton the basement."
"hahaha" I busted out laughing." Yeah ha-ha he would like that ha-ha wouldn't ha-ha he"
I struggled not to pee my pants. Did he really think I was going to give him the basement. I had been begging for years for mom to fix up the basement so I could go down there.
"I'm calling Jess and telling her to come pick me up I'm going to buy paint" I said still laughing at the thought of giving up my own personal bathroom to that Jack-ass.
Ashton's P.O.V
"So do you think that she'll take the basement or her old room?" I asked.
"I don't know but I'm pretty sure the basement It's huge and she'll have her own bathroom."
"Oh god why couldn't have I chose what I want and she get whatever I don't chose"
"Because she's been though a lot Ashton"
"So have I" Dad looked at me seriously.
"You see her every summer you talked to her all the time. Charlotte doesn't." he said keeping his eyes on the road.
"What happened to her anyway?"
"He died" He hesitated then continued. "He was in the army he died 2 months before he was supposed to come home. He never even met her and she never met him"
"Oh" was all I could say.
Charlotte's P.O.V
"So I was thinking of doing one wall Brown, one light Pink, One Beige and then the other one in this." I said holding up the brown, light pink, and beige plaid square.
"Yeah how many do you think we'll need?" Jess said looking though the some paint strips.
"I don't know I'll check tonight."
"So when is he moving in?"
"Well I'm hoping sometime before he moves in he'll get hit by a Bus then he won't have to move in." I stated smiling at the thought of that actually happening.
"I don't know why you hate him so much he's hot." Jess said licking her lips. Ha-ha I was starting to wonder where the Jess I know and love was.
"He's an arrogant ass. I don't know how you other girls can see past that. I mean has he even had a girlfriend before?" I pause. "No and that's my point he's got a new girl by his side every-day. I just hope his dad is nothing like him"
"'Other Girls' why thanx Char your so nice. And you know maybe he is nice you don't really talk to him except when your fighting with him."
"Omg, your right Jess and maybe just maybe the world WILL end in 2012 and maybe the day before that I'll have sex with all the guys of Down with Webster" I said coping her perky tone.
