Remembrance
There are many words for memories
But none to describe how I felt
I think that's the problem with
Feelings.
Sometimes you say things that you don't mean.
I didn't think that you would leave
I didn't know who cared and who didn't
I didn't know better when I believed them
I didn't know I had to cry just to get attention
I miss you, I care about him
You had to leave, and he separated
He came back, they moved on
And yet even when they're already gone, there are memories you just can't drop
