Chapter 2
Okay hi I'm back! I didn't get the time to upload the second chapter so here it is! Hope you guys like it, feel free to comment.
It's 6 a.m on a wednesday morning. Ugh, I don't want to get up! Can't I just sleep forever? Okay, come on get up you're going to be late. And you only have three classes today anyway and then you'll be free for the rest of the day. I get up and quickly put a skirt and a shirt on. After brushing my hair, I head the to kitchen and eat my breakfast even though I'm not really hungry but it'll wake me up.
As I take a sip of my juice, there's only one thing I think about. Well one person actually. She didn't come to school yesterday. I haven't seen her around her house either. I hope she'll come back today.
Anyway, I brush my teeth once I finish my breakfast and put my jacket on before stepping out of the house. Wow it's cold outside. As I walk slowly down the pavement and passed Quinn's house, she walks out of it. I keep my eyes on her for a second not realizing she was looking back at me. Once I do, I turn my head and look down as she walks up to me. She starts walking slowly next to me "hi" she slides her hand in her bag, reaching for her cigarettes "do you mind if I smoke next to you?" she asks, putting one between her fingers. I shrug before turning my head to look at her "uhm.. yes kind of" I say and look back at the road as a slight smirk pulls at Quinn's face and she puts the cigarettes bag sighing softly. I chew my lips trying not to show my smile and slid my hands in my red jacket's pockets. Should I ask her why she didn't come yesterday or will I sound annoying? I stay silent for a minute and clear my throat "I didn't see you at school yesterday" she looks right in front of her, pursing her lips "I had stuff to do" she says firmly. If I ask her to be clearer she'll definitely get annoyed.
"I'm so not in the mood for school" she says, sighing once again. "Who is anyway?" I ask laughing a little. She laughs as well and I look over at her. She's so cute. I can feel my heart beat so fast that I'm pretty sure she can hear it. Oh God, this is so embarassing it, the hell is wrong with you Rachel? I had never felt this before. I look back in front of me trying to manage a normal heartbeat rythm. "We could skip" she says and I immediately turn my head back at her "what do you mean skip? Like, skip school?" I ask as she nods simply with a confused look. I shrug, looking back at the road. I had never skipped school before, like ever. My dads would kill me if they find out. But I could try and it's the first time I'm doinf this so they won't say anything. But just for this time though. I nod as a soft smile pulls at my lips. "Yeah, why not. Where would you like to go instead?" I ask, walking down the pavement. She shrugs, thinking "Well I want to go to a calm place. How about the park?" she asks looking over at me and flashing me a soft smile. I look back at her, smiling "I'd love that" I say as my smile grows wider. I, Rachel Berry, am about to spend the day with Quinn Fabray. Interesting.
