I sat on my welcome mat.
After about ten minutes of rewinding that night over and over in my head I noticed something sparkly from far, from the plant of Miss Johnson that lived next door. Then it all fell into one piece.

I'll hide it in her plant. It's so obvious a burglar will search the plant that's close to my door. No one will ever think of that.
Not even myself.

I'm so so so stupid.

I grabbed the key and tried it with my door. Klick. Opened.

I locked the door behind me, took a quick shower, and crawled into bed.

"I hope you're okay. -Sam."

I smiled.

"Found the spare key. I'm great."

"Fantastic! And please rethink that trip. Pretty please."

"So rude being on your phone while you're with friends."

"Shush. Don't change the subject."

"I told you I'm not coming already. You guys have fun though. I got a job to find."

I fell asleep with a random black and white movie that played on tv, in my own familiar bed, and with good memories from some great people.

Searching the newspaper for jobs was useless. They all were wether irrelevant at this point or couldn't get me through the month.

My phone rang.

"Hanna Hanna Hanna. What's with the rent this month? What excuse do you have this time?" John spoke, my household.

"Nothing, you'll get your money don't worry."
I don't know from where yet but he will.

"That's what you said last month and now you're two months late already. I'm not sure I can-"

"Listen I've been trying to get a new job now and-"

"No you listen." He coughed "as much as it's sorry to hear that a young girl like you struggles with life, I can't let myself rent the flat to someone who just doesn't pay in time. I have to live from something too you know. So there're two options, wether you pass me the money for the entire two months by the end of this month or you'll just clear the apartment. I'm really not trying to be harsh with you but I can't ignore it as well, I'm sorry."

"John, the end of this month is in two weeks."

"I'm sorry Hanna."

I wanted to hit something from the anger that filled my body all of a sudden.

Without being aware of my actions I threw my phone towards the wall next to the tv, not thinking through it wisely.

I let a little grown out into a pillow.

Getting a job and being able to pay him for two of the months? I'll never achieve that kind of amount in two weeks.

I checked my phone and it was completely wrecked. Great. I couldn't even turn it on at this point.

I figured that staying at home won't do any good to my current situation and crying was definitely not on the chapter, so I changed and left for the clothing shop Hailey's mom own. Everything that'll get my mind off of my problems.
