"How did you get over him?""I stopped believing in fairytales." I replied.
"Because fairytales are too perfect. Those are far from reality. There's no perfect prince that will fight a dragon and save you from a tower or from a bad witch. There's no prince that will marry you and love you because you are no princess. You are just an ordinary girl so you need to be the one to save yourself in that high tower in order to become a princess." I said while looking intently to his eyes.
"A princess doesn't always needs a prince to save her. It only takes courage and self-confidence for her to stop waiting and fight that dragon or witch and get herself out of that tower without the help of anyone else. She can. And I did." That's the last line I've said before getting out of that café. Leaving the guy I loved behind who never knew that he's the prince I am referring to. The one who never came because he is in love with another princess and she's not me.
