Chapter 12

My "date" with Rayvon should be fun. I wanted to tell him about my parents today so he wouldn't have to hear it from anyone else. I was really scared though because what if he doesn't like me anymore after. I also couldn't believe after my date with Rayvon I'll be going out prosper. My life is just crazy.

"Hey earth to Ciara"

"Huh?" I said jumping seeing a hand waving in my face.

"Are you okay?" Akira had said.

"Oh yeah, just thinking. Did you find me an outfit yet?"

"Sure did and your gonna love it."

She pulled out something simple. It was a whit sweater dress with black booties. She was right I did love it. While I was fixing my hair I had gotten a text message from Rayvon.

R- I'm outside. Should I knock and come get you or??

C- No, I'm coming outside.

When I had went outside I saw Rayvon standing by his car looking down at his phone.

"Your date has arrived." When I said that he looked up at me and smiled.

"Well don't you look wonderful. Why don't we head out." He said opening the door to his car.

He drove to some arcade place call putput. It has miniature golf, go kart racing, water boats and arcade games. When we got there he paid for us to get some coins to play the arcade games first.

"I bet I can beat you in Skee Ball" he teased.

"Nah, I don't think so.. I'm pretty good!" I responded.

"Well then let's see."

We played about 4 rounds. He won two and I won two. We were playing a tie breaker.

"Stop cheating." He said laughing while I bumped his arm.

"You slapped my ball last time. This is nothing major big head."

"Oh so now I'm a big head?" He said still concentrating on the game.

"Yep you are. And stop trying to distract me." I said getting back to the game.

"Well I'm finish. My score is 4583. You need help finishing" he said laughing.

"Nope this is.... my last... ball. And my score is 4554." 4554 is my moms jail number, that's really weird. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

"Well looks like I beat the lady of the hour with 29 points. Your still a winner though remember that." He said collecting all the tickets we won.

"At least I won the first game." I said laughing helping him.

"So where too next?"

"Hmm.. What time is it?"

"It's 5:38."

"Well I have some where to be by 7 so we can ride the Go Karts, cash the tickets for prizes, and get something to eat."

"Fine with me. Off to the Go karts we go." He said making a
L shape with his hand pointing for me to follow him.

"Thanks for the date I had a lot of fun with you." He said parking in front my temporary house.

"I had a lot of fun too. We should do it again sometime."

"Want me to walk you in." He offered.

"No, I have this friend. She's really sweet but she'll ask you a hundred question so I better go by myself." I said making us both laugh.

"Well I'll text you later." He said after he kissed me on the cheek.

"I'll be looking for it."

When I had gotten inside Akira was standing there looking out the side windows.

"Ooooh girl he kissed you. But it was on the cheek. He seems so swe- wait no a better word for him is genuine. Yeah genuine. You like him? If not I sure do. What did y'all do? Let me knowww."

"1 why are you being so nosey." I said laughing.
"2 let me tell you...." I told her all about what we did tonight and how I really liked Rayvon.

"Yeah, too bad Prosper messed up."

Speaking of the devil, it's 6:45.

"Hey I gotta head back out. I'll be back before 10. I will tell you everything when I get back."

"Okay well ima go back upstairs. See you later."
