Darin's POV:
*journal entry, written from Darin's prison cell*
This is my final week in this place. I'm finally getting out. It's such a relief! I hope everyone sees how much I've changed. The psycho in me has vanished. I'm free of my mother's voice and my head is clear for once. She had so much control over me. I won't hurt anyone ever again. If I could apologize to Claire and her family. I would in a heart beat. But they live in a different area now. Well, my lunch is here. I'll write again soon.

Claire's POV:
Tyler actually did it. He proposed, and now I'm engaged to my best friend. Everything that happened in the past is water under the bridge. I haven't forgotten what happened to me, it will haunt me for the rest of my life. All I can do is hope that Darin got the help he needed. I have forgiven him and moved on with my life. I have two things to look forward to. My new husband, and our future child. Tyler has no idea I'm pregnant. I plan to tell him on our wedding night. It will be a wonderful surprise. After that, I plan to tell my parents. I'm so excited to spread the news.
