chapter 5

"What i'm coming home!! "

Phone called ended

"What wrong" asked joey

"My dad died" i said in shock

"WHAT" joey said coming over to hug me

" my dad is dead how, how can my dad be dead?!?"i say starting to cry, i feel him squeeze me tighter

Joeys speechless,he finally speaks,

"he says sorry for your loss, i bet your dad was a great man".

"Ya thanks Joey" i said but im still crying alot

"I think i better get home now to see my sister and find out what happened"

"Ok Jan i'll walk you up to your apartment"

"Ok thanks " i said with tears running down my face.

When i get back to my apartment i hear my sister crying. I go to her room to see her and she is crawled up in a ball under her sheets. I decided to climb in her bed with her and so we started to cuddle, we eventually fell asleep. It was nice to have sometime with my sister because we never really get to do stuff like this anymore.  When i woke up my mom was finally home i run down stairs and hug her and start crying

"I know this is going to hard but we need to try and stay strong ok ? " said my mom not letting me go

" Mom it will take time she's young" said lily

But i know lily is  just trying to be strong for me

My mom  finally lets me go

"Mom are you going back to rio"? I ask

"..... um yes i promised your dad that i would try to complete his studies and help as much as we can  to try and fishe what he started" she said

"But mom we need you right now" i say

"I know honey i'm going back in two weeks after the funeral "

She said starting to tear up

"Ok" i say as i get a text from joey

Joey-hey how are you doing

Jan- i'm ok

Jan - can i come up to your apartment for netflix and pizza?

Joey- yes i just about to ask the same thing

Jan-  see you in 5

"Hunny who are you talking "

"My boyfriend " i tell my mom

" since when did you have a boyfriend?"

Asked mom try to lighten up the mood

" since a few days i say"

"Where does he live do you want a ride she asks"

" no he lives upstairs"

"Oh well ok then have fun" my mom said

"Thank mom, i love you" i yelled running out the door

I was still pretty upset about my dad and that my mom wants to go back to rio but i mean she promised my dad that she would continue his study so i guess she doesn't have an option.  When i get up stairs and see joey i run up to him and start crying again he hugs me.

"Want to go inside?" asked joey

"Ya sure"

"What do you want to watch?" he asked

" i don't know how about a happy movie to put me in a good mood"

" ok but what movie?" he said

" big hero 6?" i say that one of my favorites 

"Ya ok i love that movie to"

( after the movie)

"Jan i need to talk to you" said joey

" ok about what" i say a bit nervously

" my fame" he says

"OH... right  that what about it " i say

"Well one day i need to tell them about you and post pics of you and stuff" he said

"Ok when do want to tell them wait does that mean i will get fans too ?"

" most likely" he said smiling 

"Cool!! You can tell them tonight" i say wanting to get famous

" ok but i want you to be here"said joey

"Ok i'll come back tonight after dinner" i replied 

"Ok great" he said happily

"See you tonight" i said getting up to head back home

"Ok babe" he said

Wait did he actually just call me babe?

When i get home i have a big smile on my face.
